I have seen -40° in Montreal. The warning issued was that if you had skin exposure of more than 2 minutes you would get guaranteed frostbite and should go to hospital. Very cold temperatures can kill.

Iman in -20 degrees C jab aap baahir nikal tey hei toh aapko aisa lagta hei jaisey aap ko koi needles prick kar raha ho skin mei….if u are not wearing a long jacket/overcoat which is meant for such a temperature (Like jackets/thermals are available for above 0 temperatures, sub zero temperatures and then like upto -20 degress or even lesser)
Though in ur case i guess u will get the same feeling even in temperature less than-10 degrees.
