I have said since the draft that Mike Strachan was going to be the gem of this WR class, so far, so good
Colts fan here and hope you’re enthusiasm becomes a Colts reality, but it’s hard to get too hyped yet. Deon Cain was star of training camps and for whatever reason hasn’t translated to NFL field yet. Ben Banogou needs this strong training camp and preseason to boost confidence and experience for a career saving year! Man, his emergence from on the bubble to a above average NFL 3rd down rush specialist would be huge for, basically, still a needed pass rushing unit. Healthy Turrey, emerging Banogoa, and a top tier rookie end in Paye would make a questionable unit, a solid NFL unit, leaving big offensive playmakers only real glaring weakness. But when you can run the ball with possession receivers and a solid defense… A great recipe to win big games!
Michael Strachan seems to be a lock imo...only thing will be where he is on the depth chart

@@keanubrown4172 Yeah, probably. Strachan seems like a lock at this point, and unlike Dulin who's a strong Special Teams player, Patmon hasn't shown anything in that side of the game. I could see Patmon making the practice squad but I really doubt he makes the active roster at this point.
Moving along as this team begins to take shape. Seems like the Colts will have a successful rookie class. Many players we hoped would step their game up looking good to do that. Would rather have Wentz out there but on the plus side the Colts find out who the #2 regular season option will be at QB. Most concern on the OL and just have to hope that Nelson and Fisher are back in time maybe for the Titans.
I agree about Michael Strachan, we just seem to have good luck with small school guys.

I am absolutely on the Michael Strachan bandwagon at this point. Dude is everything that Dezmon Patmon was supposed to be. Between his size, speed and hands not only do I think he can make the team, I think he could make a real impact on the field.

This might be Ballard the draft where Ballard hit all picks, ballers on every position, with three superstars in making( Granson, Strachan, Paye) two good backups, and we still need to see how Dayo turnout. This scouting groupis build different.
dayo wouldve been a 1st round pick if he was healthy, so i think out dline is going to be more monstrous

Saquon is not a good comp for Jonathan Taylor imo. Saquon is more about lateral movement than JT. I see more Fred Taylor mixed with a little bit of Clinton Portis when I watch Taylor. Obviously that's a lot to live up to, though. You'd be more than happy if JT had the career that either of those guys had.
I think in 2 to 3yrs? Strachan is going to be a top 3 WR for the Colts
