Pierce vs Gilmore... Tough welcome to the NFL task for a rookie from Cincinnati... It'll be good training for him. Can't wait to see how Bradley's scheme pans out
Yep, I can't argue that. I'm not worried yet, though. He's getting the necessary reps and is going against stiff competition. He was pitted against Stephon Gilmore in 1-on-1s yesterday and didn't back down.
It would be a story if he didnt look like a rookie. Dont get me wrong, i would be very happy to see pierce be wr2 ready today, but there is also something to be said about learning new skills and applying them. Lets see if Pierce can take Reggie Wayne's coaching and turn it into production.
@@nothanksguy Hoping for that. He really hasn't jumped out yet. Let's see what Saturday brings. Maybe we'll hear his name brought up for making a spectacular catch. If our D-backs have it their way, he won't.
Watching his highlights film was troubling after the draft. Everything are red zone corner fades. Good luck with that if you're a one-trick pony in the NFL. He doesn't come across as a burner either. I think they need to resign TY.
@@carrite you might have a point there... though, he was pretty predictable but they still couldn't stop him. But it was college defensive talent of mid-majors trying to stop him (other than Notre Dame), and of course Alabama DID stop him... he had 17 yards, lol. He's got a big chance to shine at 6pm, will he step up? We'll see in 1 hr. C'mon Alec, LET's GO !!!!!!!

I'm hoping Hines gets more targets than WR4 or TE3. I might even be a tier low in saying that. I want to see him in the backfield with Taylor.
I heard Pierce is not getting off the line on press coverage, has a lot to learn. Definitely looking rookie-ish. Which is understandable.

If they are getting done 10 min early that is atleast 10 more reps they could get in with these relievers that need all the reps they can get!!
