- While fall colors still linger on a beautiful mid-November day, two Finger Lakes Railway crew build a pair of trains around the yard in Geneva, NY and along the Norfolk Southern Corning Secondary! First up, yard job GY-1 puts the finishing touches on the outbound train which would be picked up by Norfolk Southern's local turn H06 later in the morning while using a former Union Pacific MP15AC! Moving a short distance away we catch the Canandaigua Turn, GC-2, putting together their consist for the day with a pair of old B23-7s before departing along the former New York Central Auburn Road!

Good videos! Nice to see this old power still working the trains. Had a chance to drive by there in Geneva back in October. I noticed that the Finger Lakes scrapped no. 2308 and a few other locomotives that I once saw sitting nearby a few years prior.
Another cool video with classic power getting the work done! Thanks! 👍🏻👍🏻
Gotta Love The Older GE Power
Great video, greetings 🚂👍👋
Awesome video Matty
Thanks!
Wow, did you see the front end jump on 1943 - what was that, wheelspin ? I've shot from some of these spots on my way to Watkins Glen, love the area. Always enjoy the FGLK videos, thanks Matty.
Nice. P.s.- did you happen to catch the Baltimore and Ohio heritage unit at the east end of the frontier yard in Buffalo yesterday?
What's going on with those boxcars in the background beginning around 6:00 timestamp? Are they on a siding? Regardless, thanks for another excellent post.
