Thank you for an informative video. Even a payroll and hr manager of many years found this useful.
Thank you for the video. Found this very useful.
Thanks for this Dom very usefull, what do you do if you need to resubmitt data from prior years but have since left previous payroll provider and the validation report spits out numerous errors before filing, how can you go about fixing this to enable to resubmit?
Thank you the video I would like to know how correct the amount for code 3601 please
Thank you!!
Hi there. Thank you for the info. It helped a lot. However, we definitely, in error, overpayed on PAYE, and the Submission failed because of a PAYEVALIDATIONOUTCOME-error. So the certificates are all correct, and we did in fact overpaid. Reason for Overstatement, was Error in Calculation. How do I proceed now in order for SARS to accept the submission. Please help.....
Hi Jolet,
Thank you for reaching out, and I'm glad the video was helpful! Regarding your issue, there are quite a few variables at play here. Generally, to troubleshoot this, you'll need to revisit the EMP201 returns that were initially submitted. You'll have to correct the figures and resubmit the EMP201 return on eFiling with the accurate amounts. This should result in a credit for that period. Even before making the corrections, ensure that the total of your EMP201 returns will match the total amounts reflected in the tax certificates. You only want to perform these corrections once.
I hope this helps!

Tax matters can be complex, and I strongly recommend consulting a professional tax practitioner to ensure your submission is accurate and compliant with the latest regulations. This will help avoid potential penalties and ensure all corrections are properly accounted for.
Hi, thank you for the video. I'm still new in the use of easyfile.
The trainer who gave workshop said that I must not cancel IRP5 but must make corrections to it and make declaration and submit to sars. Are they right by saying this?
Hi, Your welcome I hope you enjoy the ride. Yes, that seems quite right, the IRP5 is already in the system, doing manual a correction, save it and re-submitting would be best practice.
