Wow! What a master class in watercolor. You covered all the important aspects. I'll revisit this video often.
Thanks again for your generosity, Thomas.
thanks so much
Thanks so much for sharing your process with us. It is so inspiring and full of helpful information for nouvelle artists like me. I can’t find the right words to describe how much I like to see how you design your paintings, taking decisions on what shapes group in big masses, what areas to obscure, the needed level of detail in each part… pure gold. THANK YOU Tom.
Thanks so much - Glad you found it helpful
Thank you so much for letting me peek over your shoulder and watch you a master of watercolour! I also appreciate that you tell us the colours you are using....I'm wanting to get some new paint colours. Who you please consider doing a few lots of tree videos. That is such a challenge. Thank you again 😊
Мой дорогой и самый любимый учитель! Если бы я знала, что доживу до того, что мне придется сохранять твои уроки и рассылки, чтобы они всегда были со мной. Огромная благодарность за книгу, за видео, за то, что Ты есть. Спасибо!
You're very generous and kind - Thank you!
@@thomaswschaller I wish you good health, creative success and longevity. God bless you!
Thank you again for your beautiful drawing and watercolour techniques . Just so engaging and learning more each painting you complete on your RUclips channel . It is wonderful to have such tuition available at the touch of a button!
Thanks so much !
I just spent two hours watching you paint and draw and I'm sorry that it's over. Thank you! I'm learning a lot. I've been drawing for about 12 years, but took up painting in March. I love that your process is so measured and thoughtful. Many watercolorists seem to paint in a very energetic fashion that I do not want to emulate. It looks stressful! You have a calm, considered process and it gives me hope that I will be able to learn this without feeling like I have to panic my way through the painting.
Thanks Ross. Glad you found it helpful. I have to admit, when I'm painting without an audience, I'm faster and more frantic a lot of the time . But for these videos, I'm trying to be as clear as I can be . And yes! Panic never helps! :)
Wow stunning ✨
Excellent tutorial as always. Each time I retain a little more and you’ve really helped me to change the way I approach my painting. It’s such a pleasure to listen to your narrative too.
thank you !
Me encanta. Gracias Maestro!
Thank you so much for your painting and teachings. Your motto about painting light in watercolor should be printed and kept in sight when I do my next painting :D
♥
I draw so much comfort watching you paint…learning seems secondary at times..but I’m grateful for all of it! Thanks so much sharing your work..your talent..and your philosophy of art with us.
Thank you so very much - it is my pleasure
Absolutely amazing!
Thanks Dan
Nice work Thomas bravo
Another great demo, thank you.
Thanks so much
Thomas, your mini series based on the ancient mostly derelict monuments that were originally erected in and around the Forum in ancient Rome have been both individually and collectively excellent, as has your treatment of the subjects from a drawing and watercolour point of view. Thank you so much for your time and expertise.
Thanks!
Great as always!
Many thanks
Beautiful! Thank you
I love love love your art and greatly appreciate your commentary.
A lovely painting. The background is much more attractive than the reference.
Thanks
Beautiful as always. ❤️
Thank you, I'm always learning a lot from you. I just need more confidence.
Greetings from Hungary! 😍
Thank you - It's just painting - you don't need confidence - just have fun
Thank you. I'll keep in mind. ❤️
Vgoodsar❤❤
Love it! Love it! Love it!
Thanks
Love this painting!
Thank you
Amazing sir as always thank you ❤
This series is truly inspiring work! Do you use a specific graphite hardness? After you've completed your pencil drawing, is there any light erasing to remove excess graphite or do you intend for the pencil to blend into your water and your colors or do they tend not to run together?
Keep putting out amazing content!
The pencil work ( HB or 4B) is part of my process and so part of the finished work . Some paintings which rely on a larger white area may need some light erasing after it dries - but not usually
@@thomaswschaller truly insightful! Thank you for your time and your continually great content!
@@zoopoptv87 Thanks so much
Can you tell me what brand is the Deep Jadeite Green? Thank you, I have this almost drawn out and I'm looking forward to painting it.
Yes! ' _ mostly use two pigments in green - both from Daniel Smith - Jadeite and Serpentine
