These videos can be so inspiring but discouraging at the same time. A lot of people I see in the industry were already close to others in the same field or with professional athletes. 😩 Best of luck to Taylor though. She’s worked for every bit of success. 🙏🏿
If you don't have the connections now be confident you can make them. It good to keep the friends we grew up with for comfort but when it's time to move up a level you need to add new friends/connections with the people in the positions and areas you want to be. She had the connections but if she was bad at interviews having those connections wouldn't help her progress.
While your waiting to make those kinds of connections be working and practicing your craft so that when the opportunity pops up you are ready to take it and run with it. 👍🏼
