Is this the type of amp needed to hook up a marantz model 23 receiver?
I don’t understand. Can I use this preamplifier to my vintage receiver (Nikko nr-1019)?
Possibly, that vintage receiver would need to have a way to bypass its internal preamplifier section, allowing you to use it as an amplifier only.
COL would be the Columbia eq.. curve for magnetic LP playback which is somewhat different than the RIAA NAB curve. I am old so I know this :) - Sandy
