- On my last day in St Lucia 🇱🇨 we finally visit the exclusive resort set at the foot of the Pitons, known as Sugar Beach.
Then on to a local fruit feast that includes the "Super Fruit" Sour Sop and a unque "cheese flavoured fruit that I try for the first time.
What is the Canistel Fruit?
Canistel is a cousins to the mamey sapote and the sapodilla
Its texture is similar to a pumpkinor roasted sweet potato.
This yellow fruit is a staple in Central America and the Caribbean, and can also be grown in other tropical areas.
My last meal on the island is a "grape jelly burger 🍔 " at the airport.
