I’m on day 2 of sending samples to 100 producers a day! Thank u for these gems bro. Do you send your emails manually 1 by 1 or do u use some sort of automated email service that sends out 1 at a time so it doesn’t seem like spam?
Been learning from you bro buuuut the problem is the samples sound so real how do you make sure producers don’t leave you out because they think it’s a real sample
They know I make everything from scratch bro! And even if they tried leaving me out on a placement they would need the sample name and since there isn’t one I wouldn’t be left out!
I see that you leave some space between the stems for reverb/delay tails etc. Do you care about any audio bleed between your sections of your sample? So for example that the tail of a bell rings a little bit over the piano as the bell part dissapears? Then you could possible hear a little bell tail in the beginning if the producer would cut that section up. If you really want every section without any audio leakage from other sections you'll have to render every part to audio and really cut it on the grid, so you don't have any taills ringing through... But I would rather not do that from a workflow point of view. Would love to hear what you think! Sorry for the long question haha

Do you make a contract when you sell exclusive Beats through some registration platform? or does beatstars collect all royaltires for you?? how do you get royalties? I’m starting now, I’m sorry if they were stupid questions, but if I can help, I appreciate

I work a night job that gives me time to make beats but all I can use is my laptop and headphones.... I tried some other type headphones but everything sounds like shhh when I play it back through speakers .eg the kick sounds like a tap on the door 😂 whiles in the headphones it sounds like Godzilla walking 😂
I am so tired of the chipmunk sound for this TYPE of sampling. This isnt the ULTIMATE guide, its one way to do things. Maybe if you want to sound like everyone else. We need to start coming up with new ideas people. I am not dissing you btw. Just providing some feedback. Of course you have made money with this, I just think CREATIVELY we need to focus on other ways. All these fn songs sounding like Alvin and the Chipmunks is getting old tbh.
