All this talk about Ray tracing and nearly no one is running around just staring at arbitrary reflections of light in any game. The "fake" reflection techniques were good enough, so much so that you have to deliberately place the exact scene side by side with RT on and off, to even realize there is a difference. We had 30 years to perfect rasterized graphics. Obviously, it will take some time for RT to mature. 4th generation is nothing when it comes to technology given how fast it moves.
I don’t really care. I have an Oppo 203 and for HD DVD’s a Toshiba XE1 which is bullet proof pretty much. I still think the German Steel book edition of Terminator 2 on HD DVD is still the best one along with the original series of Star Trek.
Err...this is about gaming not films......😖
Blah blah blah... It STILL WON'T GET 60FPS...right?
It's done a good job so far
Literally runs all PS5 pro patched games at 60fps.
@@gilbertoarellano8525For now. Wouldn't be surprised if 30 fps games come out later, as games get more demanding.
You sound like someone who really really wants the PS5 Pro to fail
It already does.
i dont get a point of owning ps5/pro... No mods, no indy games paid multiplayer. Just to name few issues.
Most mods are shit, paid multiplayer = less cheaters/hackers, no indy games = lie and also far less shovelware/scams
PlayStation does have a lot of indie games. Free-to-play games are free to play online, but you are right, no mods.
More like experimental custom hardware and software (pssr) from SIE, since AMD is far behind NVIDIA in Ray tracing and AI upscaling technologies, console maker like SONY see the importance of ai tech in future consoles and it push AMD to R&D. And it's hard to switch soc because the backward compatibility and cost, so Intel failed to be part of PS6.
Show the games oh yea playstation has no games🤣
Theyve done nothing but show games 😂
No games? Funny cause pc gamers always begging console ports of games
si si yo te creo.....
Alex obsessed with RT. I just finished playing 4 gaems lately. Honestly, I was so absorbed in the game i couldn't give a monkey about RT. Nor did I notice or cared for.
Imagine making this comment on a DF hardware video
DF is a channel about graphics and performances, at a high-level analysis. This channel is not for you. Go to other channels, if you want gameplay and very very basic analysis of all other things.
Not only alex, also Nvidia, AMD and as we saw Mark Cerny
LOL this channels not for your peasant 😂😂
@@djderekrock the only peasants here paid 700$ on a Peon Box to play games at sub 720p 30 fps with RT on ultra low settings and think they somehow are rich calling others brookie LMAO
I really don’t care about the raytracing and other such features. I want more focus on stuff like NPC ai and better physics simulation like we were dabbling with from 2004-2010.
At this point, these consoles makers just need to suck it up and switch to ARM + NVIDIA combo custom soc. AMD can't deliver on the gfx end and that's what counts for console longevity.
ARM won't make sense for gaming.
@@eatcarpet yeah ARM cpus to low power for gaming
This dude does not know what he's talking about. He's just reading the script, and the information is incorrect.
RDNA 4??? Lol mark cerny already said himself its RDNA 2.5. Its a minor jump just like the pro
The RT isn’t. Cerny calls it RDNA2.x = RDNA2, 3 & 4. Hence why it’s called “future” RDNA for its RT.
AMD have lame upscaling and weak RT hardware. PS5 Pro is proving that daily. Another generation of AMD failure if this is the best they can do, still behind two year old Nvidia Lovelace architecture just as Nvidia deliver a new generation. Upgrades....
PLAYS BEST ON SUPERIOR PS5 PRO!!!!!! MEGA L FOR THE QUEERBOX SERIES X FANQUEERS!!!!!

@Yurgen_S you are just salty that queerbox will never be in first place.
