I'm an old woman but I've so enjoyed watching you in your van build. I like that you've shown us your mistakes, as we can learn from them, but even more I like your attitude when you make a mistake! You just figure it all out and go on with a smile. Thank for sharing! I hope to see many more videos from you as you travel! They are enlightning in many ways!
Another enjoyable video from a hard working young woman. You’ve done a great job on making your home and I hope you enjoy living in it. I am just one of many who wish you all the best at school, in your career, and life. If you can, make more videos so we can follow your adventures. You are talented and meticulous. Good for you!
Hi Lenja - just got to say thank you and enjoying your build so much! So good to see you working your way through it, solving problems - amazing! You are a natural and your films are so engaging for your audience - always a must watch for me!!! Your English is perfect and better than mine and I was born here!!! LOL!!! - Keep up the fab work and look forward to seeing the next episode and news of future adventures in your quite delightful new home!!!!
Lenja...been here since day one and I have to say your work ethic, determination and give it a go attitude is an inspiration! Looking forward to seeing your future adventures too. Hope your thesis is going ok! Good luck! ❤️👍😀
Amazing how people put so much effort in making their van as "cosy" as possible. For example the shelf doors. Functionally a simple board would have done the job. But no, they need to have those additional frames....?!
Danke Schön Lenja, it has and it is a pleasure to follow you in this way, getting to"know" you and your van. I hope the best for you and ofcourse I'm hoping to see you soon again. Now the Corona seam to be easier and countries are opening up their borders, we'll hit the road again! Regards Rickard from Sweden.
Halli Hallo I am always amazed how many details you manage to focus on. Music is obviously carefully chosen for your story telling and the entertainment is part of the approach. Your natural way is fascinating to watch and the craftsmanship is beyond my ability. The created relationship with the camera and audience is pleasantly fresh. As mentioned before, you inspire and motivate with your episodes. Great to spend the summer with you and looking forward to see you again
Hi young lady. It would have been easier to of made the timber on the front of your draws the width of the opening and it would have covered the runners 👍
Thank you Lenja for your latest update on your van build. Looking good, and good luck with the moving in stage , almost completed my van build too now... 😉👍 keep safe and look forward to your future videos...
Hello Lenja! It’s been great watching you work on your van (: You are doing an awesome job. I’ve been following your tutorials while working on my van. You are such a strong woman building this entire thing by yourself. Hope this gives you motivation to finish strong!
I love how you did the cupboard doors. Looks very tidy. I might steal that for my build. I'm about just over half way done. Can't wait to see what you do next :)
Thank you! Make sure to leave enough space between two doors that are facing each other when open (in my case no 2 and 3) so that you can have both open at the same time! I forgot that and those were to problems with installing them 🙈 good luck with your build! 💪
So, the frame around the back window, it’s a little shelf when your in bed? What is it’s purpose? I know you don’t need MORE work to do but I wonder if you have considered attaching a flip-up door on the garage. Depending on how it’s installed it could provide additional space as a table (van doors open) and would protect and keep what’s in the garage out of sight when you open the back doors. Thanks for the videos-they are very welcome viewing.
Yes, the frame should function as a little shelf but it also should make the whole back look nicer. I really like the flip-up table idea! When I find some time I can test out the concept and might try it. Thanks for the idea and thank you for watching! 😊
That's a good hint, thank you! I might redo some parts of this back door sonce the fabric I used turned out to not be ideal for this. I'll make sure to keep that in mind!
Please tie up your hair when you are working with machines like that table saw. Your hair can get stuck in there and you don't want that to happen. The van build is coming along very nicely. You are doing great.
You are a very interesting young lady that is amazing how you have built this van how did you learn how to do all that looks great I’m watching your video right now looking out my window at all of the rain and wind is blowing we have a hurricane that’s gonna come through here in just a couple hours my time is 4 o’clock in the evening on Sunday June 7-2020
Ahh, you have an infectious spirit young lady. I too have made some errors in judgement or design/mistakes in my build, and now in the last few days I've just decided "F#CK it!", it's more important to get gone, not to mention imperative that I BE gone (end of lease). Plus plus plus, one thing that I've heard SO often from van build people is, you're likely going to want to make some changes down the road, so don't fret too much on the details. So, I've tried to keep mine as basic/cheap yet nicely done as possible, knowing that IF I continue with the "lifestyle" I'll very likely change almost everything about it. I also know (in advance) that I'll kick myself for spending too much, carrying too much of the wrong stuff, fretting over the non-essential, unimportant details and not paying enough attention to the important ones. Right now, for instance, I'm trying to decide what tools & hardware to take along considering how much room I'll have to spare for such things. How much to alot for the "garage", versus the other essentials? How likely is it that I'll need or use what I pack? You want to be prepared for anything, but not pack anything you don't need, right? I mean, I just shave my head to save space and cut down on weight! ;-) (only half kidding) You've done a phenomenal job Lenja - I cannot imagine the effort, persistence, and skills involved in not only doing your build, but videoing it, planning, editing, etc.. My hat (that I still need to purchase) is off to you! I look forward to hearing/seeing your further adventures. Bon voyage!
Yeah, you're so right! Plans (and especially ideas) for van build 2.0 are already forming in my head and I haven't even started traveling with it... I feel like I could definitely spend all the time I wanted to spend traveling on optimizing and reshaping the van. 😅 The packing becomes problematic when you're "not done" because you have the ultimate excuse to pack all of your building material and tools, that you won't end up using anyway. At least that's what I struggled with 😅 Good luck with finding your balance there and safe travels to you! Aw thank you for your nice words! Hope to have you on board for that!
'I'm not done' ....You will never be done :) There is always another little thing, Iv'e been working on my truck for over a year now and just moved in and stage one is still not complete. I have a stage 2 planned and even a stage 3 flight of fancy down the track. I'm not one of those boring 'its not safe' types but I cringe looking at that long hair around power tools..You've seen the video of the asian chick using the cordless drill right?
I'm an old woman but I've so enjoyed watching you in your van build. I like that you've shown us your mistakes, as we can learn from them, but even more I like your attitude when you make a mistake! Thank you so much! I'm super happy you enjoyed the build series! 😊 I'm looking forward to sharing my trevels when I get back at it again 💪

Something we learnt - you can never have enough calculations :)
Also, the van is never "done" so onwards and upwards :D
Hehe, in this case that's defenitely true! And you're right again, I think I need to call at least vesion 1.0 done in order stay sane 😅

I wrote this scathing comment on this vid but deleted it all. I'm just going to say this is just really bad. I won't be a subscriber.

Thant's okay 🤷😊
Amazing. You have worked so hard. You must be proud of yourself.......
