well, tbh (to be honest) this podcast is high level for me. I have started only two months ago to learn japanese. I would not be able to understand without subtitles, but i can hear that i reckon much more words today, yu are speaking with care for the listener, not too fast, not too slow either. I still have a long way to go. Learning a language is a marathon. Although, you, japanese guys made it quite a long one. I mean, there is this elephant in the room, you know, k-a-n-j-i. Anyways, it is only by swimming that you do learn to swim, so, i hope by continuous reading it will click, for now it looks likes a bunch of modern art spaghettis. Same for you, if you want to improve your english skill, you need to practice. In my personal experience, youtube comment box is a good place to start. Then, of course, if you can work in an international environment, or overseas that can definitely help. Though, that wont free you of using a dictionary for vocab, synonyms or antonyms.
Keep it up buddy. That's a good advice to actually continuosly repeating the activity you want to master. I used to having a hard time to be able to understand this podcast, but now I can confidently say I can comprehend 80-90% of the content. If we keep row our boat, we will get to the island eventually. Kanji is always scary. For some time I had been seeing them as rocks on my road. But eventually I came to a realization that they are part of the language I want to learn. Recognizing kanji, for me now it become like recognizing Pokemon and their type as well as movesets. Sure there are a lot to learn, but the more we use and encounter each of this "Pokemon" the more familiar they become. Good luck~

As for kanjis I noticed that, while reading, my eyes and my brain has taken the habit to focus on the furigana, the particles detection and the voicing to perform recognition. I am suspecting this is not efficient to learn kanjis. I totally figure the usefulness of kanji when mastered, but the learning curve is so steep. Anyways, big thanks for the kind words of encouragement = )

現在、第3、第4言語を学んでいる日本語の学習者は非常に多いと見られます。大人の日本語学習者である私の経験では、日本語を学びながら日本の文化に自分を合わせるのは難しいことと思います。
ほとんどの日本人教師は、他の外国語を話せないか、英語しか話せません。日本語を練習するためには、私の挑戦を知らない日本人としかチャンスがないので、自分の日本語はいつも不十分だと感じています。

日本語の音声認識は記憶にある音と、聞いた音の、音の動的特徴の照合です。だから多くの人のアクセントを聞くのは効果的ではありません。
その動的な音を覚えるにはネイティブを真似、フィードバックで修正するディープラーニングが効果です。
でもコンピューターを学べたので良かったです。
大学で指導教授を選ぶのを失敗しました。選択肢が少なかったです。
