I am in the first stages of entering the teaching field and got hooked on your content a few days ago. Thank you for the great content.
I like how this lesson weaves into your concept of working backwards from standards mastery, I suppose crafting a course where the students can better understand the objectives from the beginning and be more motivated to reach them. It seems like your methods help everyone feel like they’re on the same team. This more compassionate take on assessments helps maintain that sense of comradery. Instead of punishing the students for the teacher’s mistake, just patiently going back and fixing the problem. It models good traits such as taking responsibility.
    Thanks for sharing your gifts.

I am so thrilled you're finding the content helpful. No need to punish anyone. Data is objective. We use it to learn and make good decisions. Good luck on your certification journey and thanks for watching and commenting.

I love this type of video from you. I used the videos and some of your study guides to pass some of my state tests. Now I need help with classroom management and how to actually teach. Thanks for this video!

Thank you so much. I am going to do a webinar on July 29 for tips for setting yourself up for a successful school year. I don't have a link for it yet, but I will soon. I will be doing classroom management in that session. Are you on our email list? I will announce it there, here on RUclips, and on social. Here is the link to join our email list. kathleenjasper.com/pages/youtube-subscriber

Very nice points. Can you give specific examples of how to go back and reteach?

    Hello Dr. Jasper
Could you possibly do a video on what activities I should use for each grade level?

Hi Dr. Jasper! Do you have any videos/advice on taking the Praxis 5901 bundle? Your videos have always helped me! Thank you!

Yes. I have a study guide and an online course for it. You can also use the 7811 playlist to help you with that exam. Just skip the ELA videos. You don't have the ELA part on your exam. I also have the Teaching Reading 5205, which you will most likely take if you're taking the 5901. Links are below :)
