    I recently found out I have some Inuit DNA and am learning everything about them that I can. It doesn't show in me at all, but I love knowing it's there. I was really excited to find it in a recent DNA test. I am loving finding videos like this one. I learned a lot. Thanks for sharing it.

      haha me too. I found out that I have Inuit DNA and came to this video. It seems there aren't a lot resource to learn about Inuit. Thanks for this video so that I can learn some about my ancestors

      I'm inuk from Greenland. A single person is called inuk, not Inuit.

      I have Greenland Inuit DNA also. My father's Native family lived on the Maine New Hampshire border and said they came from the North. DNA proved it.

      U haven't seen Life below zero or last Alaskan on Disney. There are 100% Inuit Alaskans on those shows and they are not by any means white

      I'm in Nunavik right now. The illustrations are very accurate of Inuit people.

      @@rayroe2689 they are Eurocentric. The men shown have full European beards and mustaches. Inuit are of Asian genetic ancestry and don't grow full beards like in the idealistic illustrations

      Good point and you are right. The illustrations are Eurocentric. The men look European with their full beards and Caucasian facial features.

      @@tinaluna1509 They are mixed race. They are not pure blooded Inuit. If they were pure blooded they would have strong Asian genotype and phenotype

    Watch a documentary video filmed in 1918 titled "Nanook of the North". You'll see some pure blooded Inuit before their culture and race were changed and Europeanized
