Looooving these sketchbook tours. I was blown away by the fruit pages - they really did look like stickers! The Aaron Bushnell inspired portraits were incredibly emotive. Overall, this video has been so inspiring. I have a beautiful sketchbook I was given for my birthday, and I've never used it. I've been saving it for when I sit down to do 'serious work', but I'm beginning to realise that I shouldn't take such a serious approach to creating art when play and exploration are essential parts of the process. Thank you for this video!
Honestly that's been such a huge barrier for me in the past too... If I have a beautiful sketchbook, can I have 'bad' pages? Once you get over that and realise that's exactly what it's for it will help your whole practise! That's been my experience anyway 😊 thank you for all your support, I'm so glad it inspired you ♥️

There is such a wide range in your work. I love the variety.. I have been using police blotter photos of victims, not the perpetrators. They are only face front, no other angles, and very sad. I've unintentionally created a cemetery. RIP ❤
