Everyone has a weakness, you can't be a perfect fighter. But at the moment, his weakness is not exposed yet. Overall, I believe Khamzat is one of the most allrounded fighters in UFC. So it's really hard to counter this guy, he has both KO power and choke techniques. I think he will destroy Usman or anyone in WW and MW. He might have some trouble against Shavkat Rakmonov, but I think he takes this one, because of wider skillset.

I’m not a wrestler but I’ve observed and learned one thing from Khamzat wrestling style that when he’s in defence mode he never leave the wall and try to have full support of the wall when the opponent is trying to out wrestle him but when Khamzat is in offensive mode first thing he does is to break the connection of his opponent from the wall which gives him leverage to out wrestle his opponent, thank me later for this advice 😉

As a Swede myself I didn't know how good his wrestling would be. A Swedish gold in wrestling doesn't mean that much, it's a small sport here and it's a small country. In many sports we got national champions that can't compete on a world level, some even on a regional level. So fighting in MMA where many Americans have wrestling backgrounds, from a country where the sport is huge and most states have a bigger population than our whole country, I had some doubt. This guy is not that tho, it really seems and, I really hope that his wrestling is world class in MMA terms.

Med totalt 86 OS-medaljer är brottningen vår mest framgångsrika olympiska idrott genom tiderna. • @ericrankin4666

He never really is aggressive. He lets his opponent get the advantage and he only puts about 30% into defending his position and his dominance is clearly evident even when barely trying. He does this to allow his partners to get better. When he gets a little serious you can see how easily he takes over.
