Awesome! I really enjoy the fun, conversational style of your videos. They’re a nice blend of good music, patient teaching, and practical advice. Thank you and keep up the great work! Btw, I’m still actively working on Bombstep. :)
Oh man this is great. I just found your channel and have been binging your videos. Love the way you teach, and love the music. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us. It's really motivating.
Love it. It's the kind of stuff that keyboardists do constantly but it isn't discussed. This is like a self help video saying that it's alright to do things a little off centre and the fact you explain everything makes it even better. Good work fella. I'd prefer a little slower blues around an intermediate level. Thanks again.
Magnificent Monday! I vote for the "off the rails" alternative. Love the DAW and electronic music techniques explanation. More of that stuff please. See you next Monday.
Above all, this series is motivating me to get over my fear of imperfection and just sit down and write and mess around. Loving the MIUM series so far.
AN ABSOLUTE WINNER! Believe it or not but I am so hearing George Benson soloing over this groove and the reason is this groove reminds me of the A section of "Six to Four" written by another fabulous guitarist called Phil Upchurch and recorded by George on his "Breezin'" album. You have yourself a winner here!
Too musical for EDM, but I would love to play a racing video game to that funk. Reminded me of the beginning of a Rick James song. Love your instruction and panache. Great job and fun!
Man you're hilarious. I appreciate your creative attitude a lot. Thanks for sharing this. What about latin rock mixed with hip hop? That'd be pretty interesting too!
Reminds me of the music played in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters. I wouldn't put it on an album, to be honest, but it's still a fun and wacky groove. Your process of development is a lot like mine. It's always exciting to see the end result after traversing such a unique path to find it. Love the video. Keep 'em coming. Maybe try a groove that mixes parallel major and minor.
Thanks for the feedback! I went back and forth on this very topic. I'll try some with the final groove (or at least as "final" as these quick experiments get) up front in the future.
I think the fact that it was a build up was quite nice actually. Otherwise I people would hear the groove at the beginning and then just leave. The build up of the groove was a nice addition
Another great video!! Now you became a regular youtuber with very creative content!! Let's run to the 1M subs😀 Sorry if it is offtopic, but... What software do you use to edit your recorded video?
OMG you're using REAPER! You¨re the only sensible person cause you don't use Logic or Pro Tools haha! Nah, seriously - love latin rock, love Reaper... and I love your channel!

Yessss I am so about this fusion of genres. Your composition tutorials are so inspiring and useful!

Thanks Alwyn, and thanks for the suggestion! A slower blues at an intermediate level sounds like a great place to go! I'll see what I can do :)
Magnificent Monday!

See you next Monday.
This is a really cool series. Thank you for sharing your creative thinking and processes. The layered method really works for me
Very cool. The drums and piano before you added the EDM sounds had a Joe Cocker kind of vibe going on. 👍🏼
Loving these
Monday is the new best day in my RUclips subscritions with your videos! Keep up the Amazing videos :)

Great video, but would love to hear the groove and beat up front before getting into how you built it up.

Sorry if it is offtopic, but...

I love that bass track, but in my opinion that tambourine just doesn’t fully fit in the groove. Nice mixup of styles though, sounds different!!!!

"You know it smells like s@!$" - greets to all The Offspring fans.
sounds a bit like Watermelon Man
