im guessing they are frozen in fridge, so in fridge the upper part has some of moistures seep out in the cold air, then they reheat it in microwave. voila stiff part of pasta
I think DancingBacons is probably the best chill channel for me to watch, because you can listen to the ambience and there is no talking as well. And the ambience is very soothing. Good job DancingBacons!
Oh man, I still remembered the last time I ate airplane food which was a few months before the pandemic started which was around late August 2019. Let’s just say the food was bland. But I can’t really expect much especially since it’s a commercial airline after all. Although the commercial airline I was in when I am going to my destination was slightly better. And when I mean slightly better, it’s literally just instant noodles which in my book a luxury
I've been fortunate enough to fly local, regional airlines most of my life which still served at least sandwiches, wine, hot cookies, and even alcohol on final approach. Woe be to travels in this post-covid society. And I say that as someone WELL acquainted with post 9/11 air travel.
Something to note is that the different air pressure, humidity, oxygen levels, temperatures, and believe it or not loud background noises all affect taste buds so food on a flight does taste blander, some estimates say by 70%.
It was 1997, when I spent 3 weeks in Thailand on business. After the 2nd week, I flew from Bangkok to Surat Thani. The flight was short and being used to mediocre meal service on domestic US flights, I was surprised that not only did I get a full meal but we barely hit cruising altitude, when the crew began serving us drinks and our meal. Thai Airlines ran the flight quickly and efficiently with none of the drama you find on American flights. I found that mostly true with in-country flights, except South Africa, when the plane’s ceiling tiles started coming down when we hit turbulence.
@@InsaneLaughter01 and uncomfortable. C’mon, I’m on this flight for 4 hours can we get something more than a tiny bag of pretzels or at least a sandwich, which isn’t stale or way overpriced?
@@jpbaley2016 ikr last time i was on a 4 hours flight I started shaking to the point where I couldn't even eat without spitting the snacks out because I was shaking so much. I hated that feeling that u get when ur so hungry u cant eat.
I'm old and can remember getting full meals on flights all the time. Didn't matter what class you were in. They were pretty good. It's a shame how cheap these airlines in the US are with their food offerings, which are very expensive. I fly if I have to get somewhere quickly, but prefer to drive. I love the experiences you share with the internet. Thank you for sharing.
They only got free food because they are in first class. This airline is a low-cost carrier, if you sit in economy, you pay. Worse, you're not allowed to bring your own food aboard, you buy from them or you starve.
Love the new vibes! I get to imagine myself travelling as well enjoy yummy food and drinks in the comfort of my sofa or bed. Love that we get to see more of DancingBacons and their travel to different destination and sampling of food from around the world 🥰😋❤
I thoroughly enjoyed this video. Different and a lot of variety shown. Seems like a very good airline with great customer service and food options. Thanks!
Great job in showing us how the food onboard Scoot is like :) I would honestly prefer the food onboard AirAsia. It's cheaper, and their Nasi Lemak is really nice 👌
Thank you needed the lift today. My kitten got very all of a sudden he loves your vids seriously he watches. He is at vet hospital with little hope. Your vids help me deal with it. I miss him so much only been 3 hours. I know stupid to be attached but I am your cheered me up a bit.
In Singapore, everyone has a little bit of a travel bug right now since a lot of the surrounding countries have opened up to tourists (and our bosses are encouraging us to clear our leave before the year ends). It also helps that if you manage to book at a good time, the tickets are crazy cheap so you can easily pop out to a neighbouring country for a weekend. :)
Eating and watching at the same time atm, really love your videos, they always improve my appetite aswell which I've had a problem with for the past few weeks so I appreciate it ^^
Even tho it was a chicken thigh, overall the penne dish looked too dry, and I know you like your sauces! Wearing the sleep kit made me lol! Great videos! Keep them coming!!!
I once took a Scoot flight from Berlin to Singapore... and it was really worth it flying premium because I had ALL the leg room I wanted at the front row!

In the US for such a short flight you get nuts and a water, No MEAL in American flights, you are luck that you both got so many meals👏🏼👍🏻 you are my favorite food channel 😂❤️
Not at all. Scoot is a low-cost carrier. In economy, there's no free food, even on their 10+ hour flights. They only got food because they are in the premium cabin. Worse, if you don't want to buy, you starve. Scoot officially bans bringing your own food on board.
I (also singaporean) took a budget airline just yesterday (not to thailand but close enough) and was eating the food wondering how you would review them. just now while having dinner at the balcony it started raining and I felt like I was filming a DB video😭 then I saw you uploaded this video in the morning and was so confused
So I’m terrified of flying. The fact you just casually enjoyed the sandwich brings me SUCH comfort. Because when I feel turbulence, my life flashes before my eyes, for real.
Hi from England! 7days croissants are blimming amazing, I found them in the dual carriageway/motorway petrol stations here and the cookies n' cream one is a go to favourite!
Having meal options *at all* for such a short flight is already surprising to me lol. In Australia you'd get maybe one stale biscuit and a kick in the arse.
I never select pasta (specially the tubular variety) for airline meal as the combination low air pressure and aircraft's mini electric oven make them too dry and rubbery!
"Budget Airline" You're flying through the air at high speed to another country/state with food and entertainment. And people consider that being Budget xD
Would someone please tell me how we can be faithful to this channel and still watch our weight? On a US flight one time we hit CAT and I ate my breakfast with one finger in the peaches, one on the bacon & eggs, and one stretched out to hold the coffee cup. Needed the other hand to keep eating.
When I have the money to do it, I always order from the mini bar on a flight. I find the alcohol takes the edge off of flying and helps make the flight more relaxing and enjoyable.
I was "forced" to pay 1st class tickets on a budget airline (Norweigan) due to pandemic issues, and I can tell you that what you got here is luxury compared to the crappy almost-no-jam-or-cheese sandwich and the bonsai sized apple they have me on a 14 hs flight. Im glad they are almost out of business.
You really enjoyed those chocolate cookies, huh? xD Last time I was on a plane the only food option I got was a snack pack that cost $12 USD for maybe $6 worth of food if I'm being generous, so if that's any indication as to the quality of domestic American airline food...
When it comes to the best Food Promotion Channel, I would say Dancing Bacons with just a single thought. 😎😎😎The quality of food and its best packaging are the prime signatures of a good food brand.
First of all I never been on the plane before and I don't think I ever will think of all I like the goodies that they gave you you guys are lucky and third of all I'm writing with my Google writing app cuz I'm having difficulties due to my condition that I suffered over 3 years ago.
Nice compilation of airplane flight meals! It stands out that the majority of them need more sauce and seasoning! I've had the good fortune of being in and around airlines for half of my life. Sandwiches, butter, coffee, rice, pasta, chicken, and salt and pepper all tend to be at the most refreshing foods at altitude. It must be the salt contents. Coca-Cola and wine, followed by beer are also great to consume while in the air. Can you imagine 50-70 years ago when smoking was not prohibited on flights? Oh what a glorious and also slightly-off-putting experience that would have been. Hot, loud, smokey, and incredibly uncomfortable; but they got you drunk and let you chain smoke for 11 hours. XD

That Sammy on focaccia bread is something I eat for lunch weekly. Cheap and delicious, but there is something about eating and drinking in the air that makes it a novel experience. Especially when Pokémon are suddenly thrown in!
That overbaked (?) hard penne looked so sad without any real sauce on it. I can see why you thought the Laksa was better! It looked fantastic.
im guessing they are frozen in fridge, so in fridge the upper part has some of moistures seep out in the cold air, then they reheat it in microwave. voila stiff part of pasta
Freezer burn
Dude I would be lucky to be on whatever airline this is I wouldn’t be complaining about anything here
That's why you should never ordered a preheat microwave food. It was never good but unless you have to
When it comes to pre-made meals I always avoid anything with pasta. Pasta is always best freshly cooked.

Facts tho, flying American is so unnecessarily dramatic and complicated.
