Both are sweet RCs. I think the SBR might be a little quicker if both were running stock systems on all terrains due to weight. I have the SBR V1 with the stock 1200 kv motor on 6s (30,240 RPM) and it is a lot faster than the 2.0 on 8s (26,208 RPM) but i believe that has a lot to do with the tire size. The 2.0 has taller tires than the V1 so it isnt quite as stable and takes a little longer to get the taller tires to rotate. The SBR 1.0 has an 8s capable ESC but the motor is only rated for only 6s. I've seen someone run their 1.0 on 8s and it is way to much to control. I also have 2 Super Rock Reys also running the Dynamite systems. 750 kv motor matched to the 160 amp ESC. The SRRs are fast, just not as stable as either the 1.0 or the 2.0 SBRs with the taller tires.
@@Rcsam89 i would sell you mine but it is in mint condition, like literally hasnt even been bound to a transmitter mint condition and would want at least $1200 for it. I know how rare they are and i have one thats never been used with original box makes it very valuble to a collector.

@@andreashabeck1155 Because it was discontinued. I purchased 2 of them when i got mine, gave one to my brother. I had a build planned for it but before i started the build is when it was discontinued so i figured "I cant drive it now, its going to be extremely rare" i have other RCs that are extremely rare. Rock Rey 1/10, Proboat Zelos Twin, SCX10 ll, Eflite F18 "Bats Edition", 3XLE, and obviously the SBR V1. I still use my boat but i dont have to worry much about damage on the water. The Rock Rey also gets used, but i dont thrash it like my other RCs. The F18 and the SBR V1 havent been used ever. The 3XLE was put into retirement. I bought a Kraton EXB to replace the 3XLE is a basher but it is falling short of durability, control, and just overall stability like the 3X has. Ive got a lot of spares for the 3XLE but just only 1 bellcrank left.
🤔 the max5 is ready program in another punch level? Cause the SBR 2.0 come with the a i think 3 punch level and come with 5 punch levels... You can change it manual or with the spektrum card and you can have more velocity... 😜
That’s was more like a failed pit maneuver by the SBR. considering the DB was ahead when it happened and going perfectly straight. Another win for the DBXLE. Love that thing. I started out an arrma fanboy with my outcast 8S EXB then a fully M2Cafied EXB Kraton including overkill 🦴 🦴 with Max 5/EZRun 56113 800KV combo. THEN I got my first 2 Losis. Mini 8eight and the DBXLE 2.0… NOTHING puts the power to the ground better than the DBXLE on 7.5” Duratrax Sixpacks. Gets to 50mph almost instantly.

I would love to race the two. Sbr v1 vs sbr 2.0. Maybe in the future when I can find someone with a sbr v1

Oh and the max5 with the 780kv?.motor you said. its more powerful a lot torque but it's not fast enough for the SBR 2.0 in the dirt so..🤷🏻

With the stock esc, the DB would have lost. The mighty Max 5 makes a pretty big diffetence.
