I cannot begin to express my love for this tune. Considering singing it for Woman's Day. It is really beautiful, especially in other languages. Art at it's best.
Many nights we've prayed with no proof anyone could hear In our hearts a hopeful song We barely understood, now we are not afraid although we know there's much to fear We were moving mountains long before we knew we could There can be miracles When you believe Though hope is frail , it's hard to kill Who knows what miracles you can achieve When you believe Somehow you will You will when you believe In this time of fear , when prayer so often proved in vain Hope seemed like the summer birds too swiftly flown away Yet now I'm standing here with heart so full, I can't explain Seeking faith and speaking words I never thought I'd say There can be miracles When you believe Though hope is frail , it's hard to kill Who knows what miracles you can achieve When you believe Somehow you will You will when you believe Ashira l'adonai ki gaoh gaah Ashira l'adonai ki gaoh gaah Michamocha, ba elim adonai Michamocha nedar bakodesh Narita Bechasdecha Am-zu Gaalta Narita Bechasdecha Am-zu Gaalta Ashira, ashira, Ashira....... There can be miracles When you believe Though hope is frail , it's hard to kill Who knows what miracles you can achieve When you believe Somehow you will Now you will You will when you believe You will when you believe
Christianity is not a religion. For it's God truly exist where others do not. Everything that the bible says what will happen has been done and still more to come, where other bibles of religions did not.
The version that's from the movie that Michelle Pfeiffer and Sara Dworsky sing in the movie I like much better, it suits the movie much better. This performance is just that, it's too theatrical and not what I think is keeping with the movie theme. Hans Zimmer had the right idea when he had Michelle and Sara sing this song just before the Exodus in the movie. It's a great song.
I disagree, but your opinion is your right. I don't do "divas' ". The version in the movie suits the movie and, quite honestly, fits with the basic idea of the Exodus. Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey have their rightful place in the music world, I don't disagree there, but to me, I like basic. The people fleeing Egypt were basic. That's why Hans Zimmer chose Michelle and Sara. This version, as you pointed out, is all about the divas'. That's NOT in keeping with the basic theme of the movie that Hans Zimmer recognized. The song is beautiful, no matter who sings it.
Very nice :) Glad I subscribed, you seem to like the movies I like :D My top 3 animated movies: Treasure Planet, Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron and Prince of Egypt :)
Did you know what happen after they crossed the red sea? Because what your saying of the Yisraelites did happen but Yahuveh and Moses reaction where different.
God plz bless my three babies ❤.. Plz bring my Kadan and jaden sms my baby girl jasmine back to me... I believe with all my heart and soul ❤ I love you vary vary much your Daughter Rashonda Clark...
+soge king the style the song sung in this version completely undermines the purpose of the message the song is trying to deliver. The correct atmosphere and mood is not in anyway established through the vast overuse of her wavering whimsical novelty singing. All I hear is someone trying to show off her vocal range by demonstrating an inability to relate to the song or hold a note for any reasonable length of time. I cannot think of a worse way in my opinion to butcher a song of this variety, I would prefer a rap rendition over this nonsense parade.
Even if I try to avoid thinking about the butchering of the message I still can't enjoy the way she can't/won't(idk which) stay on note. Ironically listening to the vocal of this song makes me question my faith.
Prince of Egypt is a fantastic movie and more than anything, the musical score is mind blowingly awesome.
This song literally makes me cry every time I listen to it
3:20 me too.

Beautiful song, fear, faith and God, an explosive story of Love!!
Molly Matalucci listen everyday and beautiful song🥰
Molly Matalucci yes
When I hear this song it takes me to another world this movie was very historical
Many nights we've prayed
with no proof anyone could hear
In our hearts a hopeful song
We barely understood,
now we are not afraid although we know there's much to fear
We were moving mountains
long before we knew we could
There can be miracles
When you believe
Though hope is frail
, it's hard to kill
Who knows what miracles
you can achieve
When you believe
Somehow you will
You will when you believe
In this time of fear
, when prayer so often proved in vain
Hope seemed like the summer birds
too swiftly flown away
Yet now I'm standing here
with heart so full, I can't explain
Seeking faith and speaking words
I never thought I'd say
There can be miracles
When you believe
Though hope is frail
, it's hard to kill
Who knows what miracles
you can achieve
When you believe
Somehow you will
You will when you believe
Ashira l'adonai ki gaoh gaah
Ashira l'adonai ki gaoh gaah
Michamocha, ba elim adonai
Michamocha nedar bakodesh
Narita Bechasdecha Am-zu Gaalta
Narita Bechasdecha Am-zu Gaalta
Ashira, ashira, Ashira.......
There can be miracles
When you believe
Though hope is frail
, it's hard to kill
Who knows what miracles
you can achieve
When you believe
Somehow you will
Now you will
You will when you believe
You will when you believe

They were basic in the movie and absolutely horrible after you hear these divas singing it perfectly

Great song, pity this singer ruins everything beautiful about it. The singing is truly a catastrophe.
how so?

Lol ur kind of right but if you look pass all that and enjoy the song and the meaning nothing else should matter
Even if I try to avoid thinking about the butchering of the message I still can't enjoy the way she can't/won't(idk which) stay on note. Ironically listening to the vocal of this song makes me question my faith.

The original soundtrack cast is so much better... Whitney and Mariah over-sang it, too many warbling notes and key changes...
