When I was there for Fright Fest, one thing I really liked was on one of the Dream Street Tents; they had a little thing noting the memory of Harry Applegate; who ran the fansite/forums GAHistory. And the tent also made notice of two employees with 50 year tenures (one in maintenance/landscaping and the other in the Safari).

It’s gonna be heartbreaking walking into the park when next season starts. Gonna be my first time going with Kingda Ka and green lantern not being there
As someone who knows Nitro very well. It hates the cold and hates rain. Weird that the mid-course was hitting if it was running as slow as you said. In the morning the trims never hit when its cold enough.
So many of these skyway type rides across the country. I don’t know why they just don’t modernize and change all the motoring and get some new cars to run this thing efficiently. Such a great classic ride. MARCO…….POLO
This park is trying to reinvent itself, hopefully they'll succeed in making Great Adventure more prestigious. A beautiful cared for park, with unique attractions, rebranding as a resort shows me that they're in the right mindset.
They should do Christmas lights and music in Skull Mountain like Disney does with Space Mountain. I’m sure everything is in there from “rave” mountain 😉
Colin or anyone else with an answer - on a winter, windy weekend like this upcoming one, on rides like Nitro or Devil, do you wear your winter hats on ride, or leave them off with the worry that they will blow off? Thx so much
I don’t think they’ll fully remove it, rather I can see them refurbing it and moving it to an area of the park that could use another little attraction

Man everything going on with great adventure and everything leaving is almost overwhelming!! But luckily Flash looks Great!

Really sad they are removing the skyride. Had so many good memories on that attraction.

did you hear about what happened to harley quinn? I was there in line and it was crazy to watch, i hope they open it next year
And it gets worse. Joker just recently just had an incident where two trains collided on the lift hill.
I did not see the demolishing of Kingda ka. Kingda ka is closed 2005-2024.
They have not begun demo on Ka yet
