Very happy to have discovered you. You're a pure talent, you do everything and I'm almost a little envious... this piece is very beautiful and this accappella version is a sight to behold, very accurate in the various parts and very well executed. Well done to you, keep it up and maybe a version of Because by the Beatles would be interesting.👏👏👏
I just had your drum video recommended to me, and I decided to check out more of your channel. You have really good stuff, and I can't wait to see more!
Lots of talent. Your vocal quality reminds me of the singer from the theme song for Malcome in the Middle. This has lots of neat sonic qualities. You should add these massive vocal layers to your "regular" songs, also.
Noice! Beautiful. Makes me think of Enya, she doesn't do a whole lot of acapella, but she lays down hundreds of tracks of her vocals in a single song. She does not just use chorus filters, those are all her voice. Anyway, excellent job on this.
Awesome accapella and sound You did it really good keep it up. Hearing your song was fun, and I completely agree, time flies so fast, but please blink😊
I loved the concepts & ideas ya threw together. Very musical ideas spencer. My only criticism if this a song for radio some of the lyrics would need to be redrafted, not so easy to sing along with as an audience. Very cool ideas, i loved ideas. This as a musical cocept was excellent. Look forward to watching future videos & please use my ideas above meant as positive criticism.
I think you're amazingly talented and there's a really good song in here, but I feel like it started sounding kind of slick and over-produced around the time you added in the arpeggios. Before you added that it sounded more intimate, which worked really well with the subject matter. As you kept adding tracks it felt like the song got kind of diluted. I'd really like to hear a complete version that's more stripped down.
I never thought of it like that but you make a very good point! I recorded it a number of years ago and it was very orchestral, and it grew in instrumentation over the course of the song (it had multiple verses and a bridge). So it started with solo piano, and by the last chorus it had a full orchestra behind it. That dynamic build I always felt worked well, but you lose that slow build in this version, seeing as it's a shorter version.
I'm glad you weren't offended. After I posted that I thought, "Gee, this guy obviously put a lot of heart into this song, and maybe I sounded kind of dismissive." It's a REALLY impressive song, but I'm more of a rock person than a pop person, and I like my production stripped down and crunchy.
You have perfect timing and your ability to hit the note is dead on. You should focus on that and avoid drifting off the note. Especially avoid sliding into the note. Try limiting the breathy intros and outros. They're great for occasional emphasis, just keep them really limited to emotional content only now and then. To remember to stay on the note, think of yourself as a piano, not a string instrument. Nail it, don't bend it. The fewer slides and drifts you make, the more your voice will sound like a professional.
Man… I can’t believe how gifted and talented you are. Keep up the great content!
Will do! Thanks for the kind words
Rich. Masterful sound from the simplest use of harmony. The human voice…the source. Felt like a Brian Wilson moment. 🤔🍷🎩🎩🎩✌️
Fantastic
