He's been THAT guy since The Roots started, his work as Black Thought is unmatchable. Poet laureate quality rhyme schemes and wordplay, structure, storytelling. He's also got very high standards for beats and finds producers that deliver.
Asked my Aunt over in Japan to get me this album some time ago, can't believe its already been over 10 years now. Great album.

+Substantial This album is easily one of my favorite albums of all time, and I hope you know how much this album means to me. Just a quick question, on your "why is substantial big in Japan" video you said you used about 13 tracks from like 25 or so, what happened to the other songs?
TheXiafury Thank you as well. I still have copies of the tracks. We never released them. No plans to release them. :( Most of them weren't mixed down or we lost the session files. Other we just cut from the album because we didn't think they were as good. I actually talk about this on the 3rd verse of my song "No Turning Back"
