No such thing as "one China" in that sense. China is a diverse country with multiple languages and cultures. What makes the people who speak Tibetan so different from people who speak Wu, as opposed to Cantonese, that one deserve to be recognized as a separate nation, and the other doesn't? I'm not advocating for Chinese policy here, just pointing out that it's more complicated than what you seem to believe. OK, how do we deal with unelected "so-called presidents"? Because that's the issue here - they take over power, and nobody seems to have courage to deal with such take-overs. Expecting unarmed citizens to rise up against such regimes is too much - most of us end up in jails, obviously. We need better ways to deal with illegal regimes like that.

I support the policy of "one China" without Tibet, Taiwan, the Uighurs, and possibly Hong Kong. Lets recognize free Tibet, i'm serious, Before Lithuania does it.
But you are no one:)
@@uksammasku4603 the majority of people, agree that taiwan is independent, so just wait.
If we're going to force China to do away with the "one China" policy, we have to break it up into many, many more nations than just Tibet, Taiwan, and Uighur.
I support your country to free into 10 more countries, too.
@@B3RyL They are multi-culti country, a nation isn't the same as country, there are for example around 2000 ethnic groups in india, 4000 in africa, but you don't have as many countries, not every nation has to have their own country..... They could but somehow at this stage it's not gonna happen, and if you look at the history, many times china was divided into many smaller countries and kingdoms.
I am from Hong Kong. Many Hongkongers support Lithuania.
Interviewer after her job, comes home, and bows down to a picture of Karl Marx, Mao and Lenin ..
You don't need to take over a country by force, you just need to send the the people their... with time they own that country. 😔
Big respect for Lithuania... Hopefully we can soon acknowledge Taiwan's independence and sovereingty
So, now migrants can get free transport to Europe with Air Putin and Air Lukachenko.
Not to poland for sure!
It seams that Lithuanian's and Pole's best allies are not even in EU, they are UK and US. Germany and France both got so dependable on Russia and even China, it is scary to think that they quite often put Russians and Chinese priorities first.
well spoken
UN needs to step up. It's not fair on Lithuania to take on such a forced burden. These poor people are being used as pawns.
what has UN ever done? :D nothing, they get paid for nothing
@@KSfreaky Yes, of course - but EU countries are powerless to pressure UN?
POWER To Lithuania !!!
Lithuanian foreign minister really well informed 👌👌💪💪
Excellent explanation regarding position of the country to all the issues talked. Keep on the good work.
'International law! International law!' -If Lithuania follows international law to the letter at this moment it is going to have a HUGE problem. A government's chief obligations are to its OWN citizens.
I very much liked what and the way Mr. Landbergis spoke on this issue. Very clear and precise, and he sounds to be a competent govt. official. I fully support his stand.
Let's be very clear on one subject - *illegal migrants, asylum seekers and refugees are a big overhead on state expenses and citizens are affected in terms of benefit entitlement.* Do you agree?
The only way is legall way !
Why cant they claim asylum in Belarus or even Russia? Both are safe modern states. And they even have a visa for Belrus.
Australia has the best Border security in the world, And it;s water.
And the fact 95% of it is uninhabitable.
True the best. Very easy to navigate in the 🌊💦 sea. You'll see a ship ⚓ from a far country
Most handsome politician i ever seen ....
Well spoken Mr. Landsbergus well done Lithuania.
Very well spoken diplomat! 👏
Great interview! Full support from Latvia!
Belarus must take responsibility for the people going to the Polish border. They lead them there and keep them cold in the forest. And the Poles only protect their own borders, as each country protects.
Don’t fall 🇵🇱 Poland or Lithuania 🇱🇹 - Don’t lose your culture or
You will end up like Germany, France, UK, Switzerland... etc.
They aren’t running from their country - they are invading yours.
These 2 countries are highly Christian - don’t forget they are prejudice against your beliefs.
oh we are aware of it. Only the youngest generation is brainwashed by left leaning pro-globalist and politically correct values of these days that come from the west and especially western academia. Almost everyone who study something in arts or humanities in western universities come back as hardcore uber tolerant leftists to whom everyone except Europeans themselves are somehow more noble and hold moral authority over everyone else. Parents who 30 years ago were standing against soviets now see how their children are indoctrinated with vales of global communism (sure, it's disguised under some noble cause such as human rights, fight against oppression and so on).
Germany stands with lithuania and poland!
Well done Lithuania! Stay strong
Sanction all airlines flying in Belarus airspace or to a Belarus airport and don't allow airlines flying over Europe that have a connection to Belarus. 0 planes in or out.
@margaret To handle the border crisis, to help the migrants in need, and to help the People of Belarus get rid of their dictator. Russia and Belarus want to destabilize Europe so Europe needs to push back and not accept this behavior, the more we push back the faster the situation will be resolved.
@@Nubbe999 not going to happen .
That would be open warfare, have to be selective and see where they mainly fly in from

France 24 , sod all to trust them about letting 23,000 people cross the channel, you may find we get rather pissed off with that soon.
Good speech! We need more such speeches. We & Baltic countries, need to stand together, against Russia/Belarus. Greetings from Poland.
well done lithuania!
There is no such thing as international law the idea of it is lunacy. There is Lithuanian law, Polish law so on and so forth.
Love to Lithuania and Poland from 🇩🇰
We are now witnessing the tragic consequences of Merkel's 2015 rhetoric and actions.
Yes, they know it's possible to come in, so many of their relatives, family are already in Europe since 2015. If Lithuanians, Polish or Latvians fold, then there will be no end to illegal economic migrants. Thanks Merkel.
yep, these migrants also came with hope that someone in Europe will say "we are taking everyone in". Didn't happened. Merkel is gone.
The female host likes to throw around the international law. I doubt she knows what the international law is.
I’m amazed how well dressed the majority of these people are. Only the Creme de La Creme can afford $10.000 to fly to other countries.
Thank you Lithuania for defending EU border. I come from Ireland and we have very high immigration which I have no problem with, once it’s legal, just as the FM said. Illegal immigration is human trafficking which, like the drug trade, is full of gangsters and corruption and must be faced down.
thats probably the most attractive politician ive ever seen
the one thing that made this even a possibility in the minds of these people is when Germany accepted all those people a few years back.
now they have a wild dream.
and I'm sure relatives who are in Germany are telling "come! any way you can get here, take it! here is the promise land!"
so many will have blood in their hands encouraging the ignorant to take crazy risks.
FM is good looking 👑
Sweden and Serbia stands with Lithuania, heroes of Europe
Mr Landsbergis rules!
Latvia supports Lithuanian brothers and sisters in thouse issues. Shame on thouse organisations wich were mentioned and this media, for not being objective. Lithuanian FM was right in all issues.
International law is void when your country’s security is at risk.
We need Gabrielus Landsbergis as Prime Minister of the UK.
You're welcome to him as you don't know about him. You think Doris is bad? ever heard the term out of the fryer?
@@joeking1019 Oh do tell. Are you going to dish the dirt?
This is happening all over the world. I wonder why 🤔
Europe have migrant problem for last 20years now. Its been very bad at 2015. Now its ok. USA have also have migrant crisis for about 20 years. Perhaps not as bad as then Obama was president. So its not like it just hapened now :D bruh its going for decades
@Razor Mouth☘️
Not as many as now!
It started a few years ago, but this year is insane.
There are rich Muslim countries, yet they don't choose them. Why?
New World Order agenda .. Be prepared of more chaos in the coming months/years ..
@Razor Mouth☘️ This time , it's immigration on a huge scale .. In France alone about 300.000 and 400.000 foreigners enter the country every year and stay . This includes thousands of migrants.. Many of them will cross the Channel for the UK , or move to other countries like Germany , Sweden ..
CONGRATULATIONS!!!...👏👏👏
