Thanks for the video. I still having an issue for pc programming my fta-850L. I don’t fin a lot of informations so I drop a comment here hoping someone will have a solution for me!. I tried 3 dirrefent computers and same issue on all 3. Everything works fine: CP Mode, I click start to read the radio than display PC Connected and ‘’Timeout!! (FimVer)’’ error popup… Port is good and assigned. Someone else had that issue?
Can't see any firmware updates on Yaesu's website for the FTA-850L.... my firmware is 01.01.00 ..... apparently very old (2021)

Found my issue, only had to swtich my regionnal settings to english!
