Hello, I have a problem with my carplay, after installing it, I have a black stripe at the top of the screen and I can't see the entire screen, can you tell me why?
I bought a Road Top Apple Car Play for an EVO system (2018 BMW X1). Do I need to Swap the location of the 2 wire optic cable plug from the large connector to the provided plug/connector?
Unfortunately, I followed your instructions step by step but ended up with no sound; I just heard sounds like pulses, the radio doesn't work, and the navigation screen doesn't connect to the radio or the steering wheel controller. Please, I need your help.

I installed one nbt road top carplay device in my mini few days ago. Everything works pretty good except that Google maps cannot switch automatically from night to day mode. I tried several things but nothing. I prepared a video to show the problem but find no one to send to!! I tried to find some help but it looks like it's quite difficult to have road top assistance 🤨
I noticed you did'nt show the 2 optic wires, one plug, transfered from the main plug. Did you not do this? did it still work alright or did you have to go back and relocate these?
Hi, my car also has the fibre optic cables. Do you know why some models have it and why some don’t ? Also we’re you able to install ok and does everything work ?
If I could add a comment to your install. I wouldn't let the WIFI antenna rest on the MMI under the head-unit. The instructions do say this isn't advisable. I did a similar install on my F30 BMW and ran the WIFI aerial along with the screen video cable and attached it to the back of the screen where its invisible but not likely to get any interference.

The Bluetooth doesn’t auto connect the CarPlay sometimes unless I manually connect the Bluetooth through the iPhone. Is there something I’m doing wrong?

This thing seemed like a good idea but ended up being the worst. The phone call feature causes feedback on the receivers end of your calls and then within 6 months it will kill your battery and alternator. I’ve spent over $2400 in diagnostics and repairs due to this thing. Worst purchase ever

Yes you need to remove and transfer optic cable to new harness
