However, he was still a contract player on the Universal roster so they put him in this stock footage serial, comprised of old footage from silent westerns and Johnny Mack Brown's black fringe jacket and palimino horse. Noah Berry Jr. played his traditional role of hero's pal with assistance from Don terry, who would become Don Winslow in two WWII serials.
