    I say decal, some say deckel. I do not know if I am pronouncing it wrong, they are, or nobody is. I do not know if there is a right or wrong way to say it, I'm not trying to insult anyone. Do you know if there is a right way and a wrong way to say it?

    What was the difference between the Polezei and the Gestapo?

      Different offices/departments within the overall SS administration, but overlapping duties. Also, you were more likely to encounter the former in daily life in the Third Reich compared to the latter, which was understaffed but much more feared.
      Gestapo men were mostly in plain clothes but carried with them an identification disc/badge that is very rare and sought after nowadays.
