Something needs to be done on all levels of play. You just can't let the refs fuck up a game and say something stupid like “the game is played by humans” the refs are not gods on earth they are not these untouchable people, they need to be held accountable for their mistakes as well. If the players and coaches are held accountable for their mistakes then the same should be done with the refs. Games like this should not go uncorrected. Doesn't matter if the refs walk off the court or not if a major mistake is done especially in a crucial important game it should be corrected. Rules need to be changed so this injustice should never happen again.
The refs wake up the next day and continue life like nothing ever happened. Meanwhile the kids from both schools are in chaos. There has to be some sort of penalty for an obvious bad call. Make it monetary or ban them from reffing any more games anywhere.

the "humans" didn't get the call wrong. The "human" refs called the shot good and left the court only to come back and change their mind. If no replay then why are "human" refs allowed to overturn calls?
