America was down two players for expulsion and they had two make 2 goals in like 20 mins just to tie. Probably the most exciting soccer game I've seen in my life. America has a lot of heart.
You forgot to mention the biggest reason everyone hates Club America: they’ve been known to get support from the league on multiple occasions. In 1985 they won an unofficial title which 15 years later the league decided to make official. Look up Prode1985 👌🏼
Also: in 1986 they faced a final against Pumas and they took it to 3 matches and didn’t mark any handballs for America’s side, but marked all the handballs on Pumas side.
Also: in 2001, they won their 9th title against their affiliated little brothers Necaxa who’s coach was an outspoken America fan and former player...

Necaxa-Atlante The OG Capital City Derby (Dead since neither team plays in mexico city anymore and atlante is in the second divition)
Queretaro-San Luis The bajio derby (both cities are few kilometers away dead since San Luis is in the second divition)
León-Irapuato The Guanajuato derby the two biggest and most important cities in the Guanajuato state (Dead since Irapuato is now in the third divition)
Finaly, a live one Queretaro - León The new Bajio derby Since their rivals San Luis and Irapuato play in the lower divitions these days they are each other biggest rivals since both are really close cities with industial and historic importance and competition both teams really disliked each other as it was, and without their biggest rivals on the top flight they Will fight for the region dominance only themselves

It's kind of ironic how chivas pride themselves in being an all-Mexican team, national pride when they don't foster young talent like Club América does. América may have less national players in their squad, but they are at least producing new, young talent. Can't say the same for chivas.
I bet ALOT on all leagues around the world depending on what time it is of the day and the mexican league is by far the best for goals and action, just wish it was easier to understand the playoff, layoff etc and english commentary would be nice. but usually i just follow the stats which always works

5:37 Never have been relegated??? That is actually incorrect. They are the only two teams to have never played in the second division (ascenso in recent years), since they started in the top fleight. But teams like Pumas, Cruz Azul, Pachuca, and even Tijuana have never been relegated. They just happened to play for a lower fleight when they first started but have never gone down from a heigher fleight to a lower( definition of relegation)
