- In this video I go over the Rise and Fall of Vehicle Simulator. I know a lot of people are gonna ask why the Shakedown updates aren't in the video and to be honest I don't think they impacted the game much. Most of it was reversed that was hated long before any permanent damage was done and the new chassis was basically the same. Anyways hopefully you enjoy the video. It was a pain trying to find anything at all from VS 2015.

In the alpha map, there was a USPS job. It got boring quick.
I remember staying up till 2 in the morning on my cousin's pc( don't ask why) to grind for the ford gt. I remember feeling so proud. This game almost made my whole childhood. RIP Vehicle Simulator

i remember when i used to play this game EVERY SINGLE DAY, one time i dedicated an entire week of my life to grind for the tesla roadster, i would grind 2 mil a day, i kinda stopped playing after the new map, i forgot why i just moved over to midnight racing: tokyo, i miss this game ngl

For me, who's been playing since around 2017, it is extremely sad to see a game that got me into playing roblox and got me into cars basically die off on its own behalf is a real shame.

It stills makes me cry to see one of my MOST favorite game died.When I made my 1 st account i really really wanted to play the game so badly.(I eventually got to play vs once i was in a computer) when i made my 2ns account i went straight to vs and played all day all month just to play.I even met one of my closest friend.But when the new map came everthing went downhill it wasn't the same as it was.Man the good old days wish i could visit the pass.
I forgot about the game after 2yrs when I stopped playing in 2019. I started in 2015 and I was in a big group for this game with my friend. It makes me sad to see this game dissappear into the deep algorithms of dead games.

Gotta give credit to SimBuilder, back in 2017 Vehicle Sim made UD look heavily outdated and gave it a run for it's money.
The competition did improve UD a lot starting in 2018, and VS still managed to surpass it. It also introduced more Driving Games later that year

I used to be a moderator for Vehicle Simulator, and the number one thing that ruined the game's experience was the exploiters. The admin panel broke, and was never fixed, therefore we couldn't ban the exploiters. The only way to control the exploiters is to tow them off the map (which takes a lot of time). When explosions were a thing, I used to blow them up with my Interceptor. Not to be rude or anything, but what's the sense of being a *moderator* if you can't ban exploiters? Had the admin panel been fixed, the game wouldn't be in this current situation. The second thing that ruined the game's experience was the lack of bug fixes and updates. I was also a bug tester, and I reported every bug I could find. But yet, nothing was done about it. I'm not poo pooing on VS, but unfortunately those two things is what led to the fall of the game. If Sim fixes the panel, I might become a moderator again. But the game is pretty much dead at this point, so there's no sense in reviving it.

UD has its physics and as a vs veteran I can say that while it's peak in 2018 to 2019 was amazing but when early 2020 rolled around it just about died and about the hackers while me and all the God grinders had at least 300M to 900M and ud tho haveing fucking tariblie mods I end up getting baned along with the 100+ poeple that day and ya thats basically it.
I got banned for saying "t1tty" on UD for two days, and I admit, I should not have tried that bypass, but the funny thing was that there was another guy literally saying all the vocabulary words of the forbidden dictionary and I believe he got banned later after me, which is funny because all I did was bypass and they were right on me, but some guy literally says every cuss word imaginable and they ban him later or probably even never, I was banned before I could see him get banned so...

What i liked about VS was the driving physics. VS has an extremely high skillcap and that is something that other games even today can’t capture. Now i hav e left the game due to the fact that it was essentially abandoned. The game has not received an update in 7 months, and the last large update was 8 months ago. Honestly i wish VS would get updates and not be the buggy mess it is now.

Back when seeing someone using the fully maxed roadster 2.0 or egoista was the rarest signing. (For me in my opinion I used to get hyped when i see someone driving the fully modded egoista or the roadster 2.0 and not the test drive ones) Now you can easily commonly see them on every server you go.

Dude I used to play this game 2 years ago with some of my online friends. Its just so sad how its kind dead . I still remember that lots of people used to play it . I hope the dev team does something to bring it back to its glory..
Scripton left the team and the chassis revamp mid way last year i believe

I’ve been here since the beginning of the ride of vehicle simulator and like you said, after the bug all my data was gone, I lose card you can’t get anymore and data that I’ve spend to many hours to grind for again. They started adding new updates that I think destroyed the old taste of the game trying to make it better.
VS got a new update as of yesterday. And boy, it's a doozy.
There's supposed to be new stuff on the map, but it's already so massive and bloated that you can hardly tell what's new and what's old. I literally can't find what was added.
4 new vics. The Miata, the Celica GT4, the Prius, and a car called the "mod car". Stock, they can hit 200+ MPH, with the Celica being capable of hitting 270. The fact that it can keep up with super/hypercars tells me that Sim either forgot to drop the values down to something more reasonable, or he got lazy near the tail end of developing the cars. Either way, the meta's gonna be screwy for the next few months until they're fixed.
On the topic of vehicles, there's supposed to be a new chassis. Slight issue... That only applies to the 4 aforementioned cars. And it's busted. If you press X to jump with 'em, your suspension will collapse, and you'll scrape along the ground.
It's honestly a shame to see VS die. I started playing around 2017, back with the old chassis and old map. Sure, the game wasn't the best, but it wasn't the bloated and buggy mess that it is today. Hell, I'd argue that what Sim is doing now is actually going to just kill his game and drive away older players, leaving new ones with a bloated carcass.
its so sad to see VS fall bro. i played this when i was like 8 and made SOOOOO many friends and awsome memories. then i quit roblox for 3 years. and i came back to see the game like it is now full of hackers and assholes. i wish i could go back to being 8 and having great time with friends of my (at the time) favorite game. its just sad to see this game as it is now.

I wish I could go back 5 or 6 years so I could play the game again on the end of alpha stages once more just so I can see the release of the lamborghini aventador sv, get hyped by the release of cars like the gtr, ford gt, finally earning my first car over 1million credits in the game and getting the pagani zonda r evo. I also noticed how far I've moved away from roblox in general, as its been 1-3 years that roblox was my primary game. Its just crazy its been 5, 6 or maybe even 7 years since vehicle simulator initially released. I just want to turn back time.... 😢

The only thing i do in Vehicle SImulator has spas people out just jump right before you hit them and they'll go flying
the sad thing is, i've been playing for 5 years and witnessed everything until i officially quit this shitty game in 2019, i remember the "new map" was only a very small change and the new cars were so bad, glitchy, poorly made, rushed, and honestly disgusting overall. i could rant for hours because there was so much stuff wrong about it, but it would be too much to fit into a comment.

the game will not come back unless simbuilder changes something on it like
-we need free vip servers back
-add better modifications
-make better meshes for the cars
-make cars sound better
fix some exploits
And the physics needs to be fixed

i feel you back in the day this was my fav game was vehicle simulator now its kinda just fade I liked it in 2019 and 2018.
Well I liked it in 2015-16. 2018 was the beginning of the end of the games pure legacy, as it ended in 2020
As a guy who grinded all cars... this video hits home Vehicle legit made my channel so seeing vehicle sim die just hurts know at one point vehicle sim was the best for those car guys...

I grinded about 200 million dollars in Vehicle Simulator, let me tell you, the community was awful, the game was awful, and I'm glad the moderators are gone. Just in general, a bad experience. From the glitches, to the hackers, and the desperate attempt to change the vehicle system's realism. And this really stupid map change that Simbuilder was going off about in 2017. And his stupid decisions when it comes to updates, Simbuilder has the audacity to make an april fools car but can't even take the time to fix his game. I quit the game a long, long time ago. And seeing exploiters just go willy nilly with their horrible excuse of a script executor, just literally makes me go crazy. The only thing this has going for it was the around the world race, and the competition revolving around the game. And even that was unsurprisingly ruined by yours truly. I absolutely despise the moderation system as they fail to apply any rules in the discord correctly, and don't even have the ability to control the exploiters because of their incompetent higherups (Simbuilder). And don't even get me started on the data loss, this guy Belzebass (Co owner of VS) wants me to calm down after losing years of work, absolute piece of garbage that request was. They simply failed to control the panic in the data loss, and understandably people couldn't control themselves (like me).
This game was destined to fail from the start, as I knew it would die out and decline from the 3k-2k stable playerbase and drop to less than 1k as they kept this up. I don't understand how Simbuilder actually had a team of developers working on his game? I find that hard to believe considering the circumstances. And to be real with you here, Vehicle Simulator made a lot of memories for me, and to see it being run by people who have no idea what they are doing is disheartening. If they can't understand what the players favor, who in the hell are they to develop? There are so many things wrong with the game that I can just talk about ages and ages on, but this would be an essay if I continued. I witnessed the cycle of pros leaving, and noobs overflowing. Glad to see that cycle has inevitably come to an end. Thank you for opening up the opportunity to speak about this deviant of a game, and if I may seem harsh,

ayeeee im 0st viewer here, btw love your video and subscribed. The reason why it gotten so bad due to their chassis is too unrealistic. And yeah those updates recently, they are trying to regain population, you can tell. Some mods or admins resigned from Vehicle Simulator. Very sad, but even tho these updates except shakedown is pretty good but somehow didnt regain some population. I heard that Simbuilder quitted devolpment. I doubt that, but I hope he didnt. #helpVS
i remember getting my first computer and instantly dying to play this as soon as i got roblox downloaded. i played it for hours with my friends and it was such a good game but then something about it just changed. it didnt feel right anymore since 1 update and i just fell out of love with the game. its quite sad to see a game that i used to love kinda fall apart

This game used to be my favorite game on Roblox, I have so many memories of just grinding out the game and meeting new friends from 2017-2020. I miss those days so much and it just doesn’t feel the same anymore with not many people playing the game 😔
I remember when I worked so hard for the Pagani and one day I got on and all my progress was gone, don’t know how it happened but from then on the game was practically in the grave
I don’t know if anyone remembers, but I remember when I first played in late 2016, I didn’t get to pick a starter car (mustang, brz, and something else I forgot) instead I got the 1996 Chevy impala. Miss that

I started playing VS around March 2018 because I was bored. I got hooked within 5 minutes, so everyday before school I woke up to play it. I didn’t really care about exploiters at the time, and that wasn’t what made me quit. I test drove the tesla roadster and I loved it, so I spent the time playing the game grinding for it. I quit because it was just too expensive and there weren’t may other ways to earn money. Lack of updates is what made me quit basically.
So now, I do occasionally visit the game (when I say occasionally, its like twice a year), and its just that time to see how bad its become. There isn’t even a nostalgic factor to it anymore, thats how much Simbuilder ruined it.

i played it somewhere around 2017
my starter car was the hummer, since when i entered the starter shop, it was the one i chose and bought, never ever switched it with another car, kept it as my main
painted it red and over-customized it, applied all possible upgrades, gave it the police upgrades, just played for the fun, didn't really care about getting more cars as for me driving around and exploring the map was fun enough, trying out helicopters, boats and trying to get all the badges and dominuses was also fun
this is a gem in the roblox world, was pretty fun to play, a lot of memories existed with it, was really fun finding things and places hidden in the map
i don't play roblox anymore, and i didn't play the new version of VS, just the 2017 to 2019 one, but i will always remember this game for being an unique in the simulator genre in roblox

I honestly miss the old 2017-2019 VS. I remember playing 6-8 hours a day just to try to get the Lamborghini Veneno. After the new updates came out, I just gave up and left the game.

The thing is without VS a lot of games wouldn't be made, (mostly driving games) As a ATW grinder just seeing the map changed put a dent in my VS career, it made me sad seeing all the PESKY exploiters rule those 2 - 1 player servers, the VIP server cost 87 robux, and the lag just makes it worst to grind on, I hope it changes the map to the way it uses too, and revamp the admin panel, would bring somewhat a handfull of people...
The downfall started when SimBuilder started to be ignorant. The lethal turn came when the new map was released.

well its down to 300ish players now. plus, to run at at at 60+ fps on decent graphics, you actually need a good pc, which a lot of people dont have or cant afford. Its completely forgotten, and it makes me sorta sad.
I was there for about 1 year for the good ol days of this game which included the hw event that summer was the warmest summer i ever had.Trying to drift that one atw coner, the drag races, the car shows this was my childhood a year before i turned 10.sad to see it so dead today😢😭😭😟😟😞😞😔😔.Late 2019 simbuilder messed everything up
I really liked VS, I came back to roblox in March of 2020 due to the pandemic and I enjoyed playing it. But then, I rediscovered UD, discovered Vehicle Legends and a few others and moved away from VS. And at that point the game just started falling off, and so did VL (at least for me, I mean it does pretty good but the models just make me wanna discontinue the existence of my eyeballs lmao). I'm happy with UD, Midnight Racing Tokyo and Driving Sim now

I remember grinding for hours and got Agera r, Ferrari Laferrari, Ford GT, other cars from the car dealership and felt so good my fav car was Agera r and then I decided to go for the galactic skin and I got it and gone for 5 months and then I came back but all my cars gone, and my cash is reset, all my stuff was reset I was thinking did the galactic skin did it or rebirthed when I got it, I was angry sad depressed
and then I did all over again but it started to get boring very fast at least I got Pagani with Lamborghini huracan

The dealbreaker was that I couldn’t sell cars anymore, I almost immediately went to Wayfort (driving empire I think it’s called now) when I saw how bad vehicle simulator had fallen off

Reasons why vs is falling apart
1. Players with potato computers couldn't play
2. The physics are just, bro, imagine going on full topspeed just to crash because of physics
3. Ricers
4. Flexers
5. Toxicity (some Cnps are joining in)
6. Less updates
7. Cars way too expensive(decrease a bit)
8. Useless features
9. People rage quitting when losing to a race (me)
All I wish for is the old map days back, when there was no auto flip and everything worked as intended.

i started playing a lot back in the hotwheels event, i went from 1000 miles to 25k+ miles in that time period
all the cars that I grinded for WEEKS are gone. It's just sad to see the game dying because it is one of my favorite games to play.
I revisited VS today after a long time. Maybe 10 months. But I wasn't playing that frequently either. I only used to play once in 2 months or so. But I was a hard grinder 4 years ago. I still remember the first time I played the game. I had an argument in game with someone within 5 minutes of playing lol. I became a hard grinder then. My brother and I used to play it a lot. I used to have friends with 10k+ miles. I have 9k myself. I visited the game today to see the maximum anyone had was 2k and most were in the 100s. No veteran remains. I really hate the new map. I used to like the old racetrack a lot. The new one is impossible to race on. And then I searched for the easter eggs we had before... The lost island, the three dominuses, the ex hoc mundo hill. Nothing. The simplicity I enjoyed years ago with this game is long gone. The updates I hated the most were the map, the update where you could no longer fit police equipment to your car without a gamepass, and the one where they updated camera movements. My god I hate the present third person camera. I was a king of the ATW race and now, the map revamp has killed the charm that I enjoyed to.
The game is hopeless at this point.

Alright, as a person who went through alot of stuff with the Vehicle Simulator community, I'm going to say my opinion about it. I've been WAITING for videos like this. I'm CaptainProax, some might know me some might hate me. (I hate you Apex)
Honestly, I liked the game. It was really fun, got me to love cars and be who I am.
I found a discord server, apparently it's for VS. Joined it.
I wasn't having that much activity in the discord server. Until, I started to talk in it.
The community was, actually pretty fun. When I was chatting alot in the server, I was known as one of the iconic discord members of the server (my opinion).
It's been almost a year, I was invited to this server called Project AV, or Adroit Valiance by Sycrea, also known as Chloe. I also wasn't doing much activity in the server until I tried opening a minecraft server for AV, that time I started to be active by alot.
But around this time, shit hit the fan.
GeneralKiko and some other people decided to mess with Sycrea. Sycrea was accused for doing actions similar to a thot. She was even accused for sending nudes, which I totally don't believe.
Of course this situation was resolved with the moderators, Kiko and I are friendly towards each other.
But cause of this incident, I decided to leave the server. I couldn't really get used to leaving the server for a few days, but I got used to it easily.
I was going good around in AV I guess, but I was wondering how the server is now. But I didn't really ask anyone. But I got to knew some real big stuff. There was this revolution server that most of my friends were in including Le_Video and Kashikuzi (Demoted due to being banned). There was also ScienceDude38. One of the members blackmailed Belzebass and I guess that triggered a purge.
I asked a guy called Sinister (Roblox username: SinisterAypherius) what happened in VS, when it started to fall, etc. Yeah, blackmail is a meme. Nice.
I went for a few months chilling around in Project AV. And in curiosity, I joined the server again. Changed alot.
Co-owner changed. Belze and alot of other developers went on to work on Supercharged. (Supercharged is a really good game, spend robux on that)
Yeah, no. I stayed there for a month I think, and left again.
Now I'm only in Supercharged, I left Vehicle Simulator completely.
Honestly, the community gotten as bad as the game. Trust me on this.
Thank you so much Venom for making these videos. Tigo was planning to make these types of videos in the summer but you did it earlier. It's not even bad either. It includes alot of stuff of what I tried to say.

Eyy Captain, it’s Floyd in disguise. Yeah I plan on leaving the VS group myself, because I don’t feel the need to be in it, nor do I feel wanted. Heck, even Belze left, cause he felt the same way. I used to be an iconic player myself, but not really anymore. I’d be surprised if someone still recognizes me. It’s sad, but like Venom said, all good things come to an end. Sad but true (Metallica pun lol).
Its so sad to see the game ive spent so much time in and met so many great people since beta. I still play it from time to time for the memories. All good things gotta come to an end i guess. Now i drift around the map just in memory of it all. This game will always be an old favorite no matter what happens to it now
I used to play Vehicle Simulator back in 2017, but now I am worried that why Vehicle Simulator doesn't exist in frontpage today.
Before all the moderators quit there was nothing to be done about exploiters anyway, since the admin panel was broken and had been for months. We just logged them hoping for it to be fixed at one point which never came.
the bad car models wasnt what made ppl quit, the map was. i was in the middle of it when everyone quit, and they all left because of the map.
both new map and new car models made me quit the game
I was concerned, It use to get like 1K players daily, now, it struggles to reach that point, it averages around 650's

Vs in 2016 and 2017 was a great time. After the new map in 2021 was released, the game started to fall.
It is so annoying about the map revamp, the popularity instantly plummeted, they should at least make a seprate game with the old map

I- I just like the driving in VS, it's better for drifting and that sort- more fun to drive around in, MR:T = hard to drift. Driving empire = Hard to handle cars. All the other games just don't have the same driving mechanics as VS, and personally, I pick the VS driving over every other since its more fun for me
I remember playing since 2017 2018 it was the first ever Roblox game I ever played and I used to grind it all day. I truly began to miss it as the game started feeling worse and I stopped playing in 2020. I miss ya VS thanks for all the memories.
When roblox got unbanned where I live like last year I think. I went to check what has happened only to see most games that I had played died and others took over

i remember i bought it during its alpha stage, i’d pull out my interceptor and most people would believe i’m an admin or something lol, even tho interceptor was rare
I remember having tons of fun with the R34 GT-R, completely wrecking cars on the race track that cost 5-7 times as much, was a good way of getting easy cash. Painted it silver with brownish-bronze wheels, definitely stood out amongst the eye-trauma inducing Huracans and Zondas.
also the saleen S7 was really good (when it didn't decide to shoot up 50 feet in the air at random due to how low it was + the extremely buggy chassis. although that risk could be drastically reduced by playing on highway race, which was the race almost everyone was playing. Still, there shouldve been greater rewards for more skill-based races (E.G. drift race), to encourage more people to play them. )
also old map ATW was painfully hard (For most people), but once you got the hang of taking that first corner, and that bumpy bridge at the end, along with the front end of the tunnel, you were almost unbeatable.
Never really had any problems involving exploiters, but I'd always see them on the leaderboards with a .0000000001 second quartermile time in a helicopter lol.
had more of a problem with toxic 5 year olds throwing a tantrum because their robux-funded supercar got outplayed by some guy in a BMW shitbox from the 80's. No wonder the most popular races were things like 1/4 mile/highway race, braking seemed just to be a concept completely foreign to most players.
also the driving was better than most of the other racing games on roblox, although there are some exceptions, depending on the car. (*COUGH* PRE-DRAGSLICK AE86/PORSCHE GT2)
There are other games I did try, like that touge/wangan one I can't remember the name of. that one probably had the best selection of cars versus VS.

Last day i played vehicle simulator and i was thinking map didnt change,i thinked,,where is old tunnel? " but when i saw in this video that map changed a lot i was very sad because i saw that this legendary tunnel disappered and probably will never return back. Good times.... Oh and also right now there is under 1k players on vehicle simulator so yee
One of the things, in my opinion, which was a slow killer of VS is the physics and the handling. Compared to new games, it's buggy, it's weird, it's just awful. Sad to see a game which brought me into roblox die now. I really hope they can do something about it, because a lot of memories are attached.
The airuption is my favourite vehicle in vehicle simulator, I hate how they nerfed the hovering speed to like 50 from 300.

Games like adventure up and vehicle simulator was actually nominated for the bloxys, vehicle didn’t get the award but adventure up did, but sadly both of them died, rip for both of them.

I honestly still cannot comprehend what happened, what an awful end to a ROBLOX game that provided so many amazing moments.
I was beginner car enthusiast and I started getting into Racing and Driving games again. I remember when Vehicle Simulator released, it looked way ahead of it's time.
The car customization was not a first but more like a progression of what ROBLOX driving games can do. I remember learning the what a Ricer is, I admit I was a ricer. Heck, majority of kids who played Vehicle Sim were ricers.
But if it wasn't for vehicle simulator, I would not have become the car enthusiast I am today. And as time went on I made some of the greatest friends in Vehicle Simulator.
I left VS due to SimBuilder ruined some of my favourite car's models.. I didn't even want to look how terrible it is, the suspension, interior, etc.. It's just gone. That's also when I switched to UD instead. (SimBuilder isn't a car guy also)
The thing is the game died bc of the map like they changed it and it upset everybody and thats how it died
this video deserves more attention. great commentary, great background gameplay (not so great game tho) and great quality. i enjoyed this video a lot and crazy_fool who keeps playing vs for some reason needs to see this or else hes gonna be sad for the rest of his life.

holy crap. i quit in late 2020 because the game never got updated and because of the new disgusting car models. i havent really heard anything of it until now. its so depressing how everyone left the staff team and dev team and now the game is just rotting. im glad i quit. this game sucks.
Still working on the game, went back to the drawing board. Now approaching the game's field again.
Excited to see what you come up with. As an older player of this game I'd love for the next generation of Roblox players to enjoy this game as much as I did.

Played since 2017, t'was the best game till' someone decide to dethrone this masterpiece, and I'm annoyed that they nerfed the Lamborghini Egoista for no absolute reason when it was perfect.
I used to play this game alot just to get my dream car,and it came true,this game gives me memories and its sad how many people (including me) forgot about it,my favorite moments were in that game!
