Greetings from Canada. Saw your RUclips and ordered it from the link you provided. Fantastic holster! Well made and my Wrangler fits it perfectly. Cheers.
My wrangler came with that holster as a package deal. It has the Ruger emblem pressed into it. Seems to be a nice holster but haven't had a chance to put it to use. My carry guns are a little bit larger caliber so it would only be for range carry or as an open carry gun while out small game hunting with my 16ga or .410 SxS shotguns.
Mine came with the holster also. I've not seen this style of holster before. I've a very nice custom holster my brother made for me. I use it for my old .22mag revolver. I'm really impressed with the Ruger supplied holster and it has worked well for me so far. Thank you.
Thank you for distilling a search down so well! And no disrespect intended... you have the ability to work as a vocal stand-in for Christopher Walken ;-)
I just acquired a Ruger Wrangler with a 7.5" barrel and was looking for a holster. I am lucky I ran across your video because I had no clue where to even start. Great review, great product. Thanks for posting!
Mine rides too high for Cowboy Action Shoots, but I’m taking it to a saddle shop to get four strips of “gun leather” to stitch over my existing dropped holsters. CAS times you putting empty guns back into holsters, and this reddish leather makes this a slam dunk. Note De Santis says not to rub in any kind of leather conditioner which slackens the brow of his holster.
Looks like I made a good choice. Just ordered the Wild Hog for my new Wrangler. Look forward to getting it! Saw DeSantis and figured it was a good choice. Was pleasantly surprised just how affordable it was. Thanks for the review!
I'm pretty sure the directions for the snaps are because the snap on the strap is a directional snap. A directional snap only opens and closes one way, most people are more familiar with regular snaps which don't require any special technique.
Baught my wrangler to have on my side when I'm squril hunting for close up shots. I keep it loaded with stingers just incase I run into a coyote or bobcat. Normally I use sub sonic in my rifle but a while back I came toe to toe with a coyote I think it was rabbit because it wasn't afraid of me at all. One shot with my wrangler and stinger right between the eyes wasn't a threat anymore. But I put 2 more just incase 😂
What size barrel is your wrangler ? Mines the 4.62 I want to make sure i order the right holster , I tried the ruger website but didnt have any for my revolver
How can you attach to belt so it is inside of your jeans? I can't figure it out and I need to carry for protection. Please get in touch, I also have 5he ruger wrangler
@@DRAGONRIDER385 What I do is I put it in my wish list on Amazon and when it’s back on stock I get notified. It’s a great holster and Worth waiting for
Ambidextrous, when used with holsters, means it can be used as a right or left handed draw holster. The term has nothing to do with crossdraw. Nice holster though.
If you wear the holster cross-draw as you show it with the belt over the front of the holster, you will not be able to draw the gun. The tension from the belt will prevent you from pulling the gun from the holster. If you are able to pull the gun, your pants might fall down. The belt goes through the bottom side of the holster cross-draw or not.
You have an opinion. You have had the gun for only 10 days. Let's see what others, who have had the gun long enough to really understand it, have to say.
I hope you eventually figured out how to actually wear the holster in the cross-draw position properly...because you're completely wrong when you attempted to demonstrate how in the video.

@@pablonapt3309 That is true, but a single action .22 is not what I would call effective, but hey, if that's all you got, it's better that throwing rocks, and a rape whistle.

I just purchased the Talo edition of the Wrangler and it comes with this holster in the box. Very cool!

Lol. Thanks
He needs 'More CowBell'....=))
It is Mr. Walken, he likes revolvers I guess too!

DiSantis makes some nice holsters, and they're relatively inexpensive compared to some other companies. Thanks for the review! 👍🏻
Thanks buddy. Definitely good quality for the price and very comfortable for sure.

Very nice holster.

Nice
Oh yeah!
Do they make a version for the super wrangler?
Really not sure. I thought they were the same size just different materials used
Has anyone ever told you that you sound like Christopher Walken?
Yes, LOL, could be that he lives up the street from me in CT and both from same area of NY.

This is why suspenders, “Gallowses” were used in the old West. No belt loops on Levi’s until 1895 or so.
I really wish they made this holster in black as well.
That would be great. It’s sold out right now so maybe they are planning on adding more colors as it’s so popular. Thanks
I had no idea Christopher Walken had a RUclips channel about gun collecting....
I was going to say the exact same thing!
Great video, Very informative.
Thanks very much
I wonder how hard would be to conceal this inside my waistband
It can be done. Thanks
Absolutely should not be concealed carry the wrangler .22 unless it’s your only option.

Thanks
Would a 45 long colt fit?
Might be a little tight but probably.
Will it fit a heritage rough rider 6.5 in barrel
Yes, I believe so. Use the link above. Thanks.

I got mine for Christmas 2021. I've put about 100 rounds through it. It is as nice a gun as I have ever used. More time will tell of course.
Darn, I should have got this one instead of this eBay one I won at auction
