I don't care what raag is this but I know this is a Gem... one of the best Ghazal sung by the legendary artist "Mehdi Hassan". "God Bless Mehdi Hassan"

It's, indeed, very difficult to rate the ghazals of the Maestro as to which one is the Numero Uno because each one of them was unique in its own right owing to their rich content -- Labz, Sur, Taal, and Loy ! Personally speaking, l consider this ghazal( Abke Hum Bichre To Sayad Kabhi Khawabon Mein Mile Jaise Sukhe Huwe Phool Kitabon Mein Mile ) penned by the great Ahmed Faraz Saab and sung by the great Khan Saab in 'Raag Bhupali'( as per nomenclature ascribed to this raga by the great Mehdi Hasan Saab himself) as my all time favourite owing to its beautiful Labz, beautiful Mosiki and bemisal Gayiki and the inimitable way of its presentation ! Hat's off to the great Mehdi Hassan Saab and Ahmed Faraz Saab for this wonderful bandish ! Nasier Ahmed Sultani Saab deserves unequivocal appreciation for uploading this rare treat with good audio quality ! -- Amarendra Borah, Former Commissioner and Secretary, Finance Department, Govt Of Assam (India).
Request the admin to kindly delete or rectify the caption with Rag Bhupali as it is misguding and late Khan saheb had been very precise and clear about the ragdari
Agree with Anu Ji, this is not bhopali, that time this raaga was not named, but recently it has been named as bhoopeshwari. With all notes of bhopali except "ati komal dhaivat" instead of shudh dhaivat

dear megh raaj ji, is song mein jo raag hai usmein Ma yaani madhyam aur Nishad yaani Ni ka use nahi hua. yani ye 5 sur kaa raag hai, charukeshi mein sabhi yaani poore 7 sur lagte hain, jismein dhaivat (Dha) aur Nishad (Ni) komal lagte hain baaki sare sur shudh hote hain, Charukeshi pe based songs hain, Kisi Raah mein kisi mod per, Akele hain chale aao jahan ho, Mera Pardesi naa aayaa etc. Ye raag bhopeshwari hai. yes raag ke sur hain Sa Re Ga Pa dha(ati Komal) Sa
ये राग बिभास है. पॉंच सुरोंका याने pentatonic राग है. भुपाली का शुध्द धैवत बिभास में कोमल होकर आता है. बिभास का गानेका समय होता है बडी सुबह याने उत्तरं रात तीन से चार तक.
