Robby’s fighting ability has always been greatly effected by his emotions, so that’s perfectly in character. However, him looking at Tory midfight is probably the most frustrating thing that has EVER happened in this show.

Robby's fighting ability has been affected by his emotions, but it has never made him THIS BAD. I get it, but I also hate the writing because I don't believe it for a second. I believe he is hurting because of everything with Tory, that he is in his head, that he looks in her direction - all that is fine, but that he loses so easily against every single nobody he faces is a bit of a stretch. Even emotional Robby can score a point and defend himself. But hey - we need to make Miguel "shine" even now, so that when they do kill a kid off, injure another one so he can't fight, just for Miguel to do what they always planned (take the captain spot) then we need buildup, make others look bad so that the ending "makes sense".

The moment Daniel saw that Cobra Kai tattoo, he locked down and beat the guy up. Dude's Cobra-phobic to the point where seeing that tattoo gives him a power boost.

Hey I love your reaction to this video. Even tho Robby is our favorite character but we gotta look at Miguel's side of it as well because Miguel is actually right when said to Robby "maybe you should listen to your own advice" and that Robby does have the opportunity of a lifetime to be captain and yet he's blowing it. But there's something else I realised as well and is that despite Miguel may not be captain the writers still wanted to give Miguel some spotlight and not have him on the sidelines and the only they were able to do that is by nerfing Robby so that Miguel could still get some spotlight cause if they didn't nerf Robby, Miguel or the other students of Miyagi do wouldn't get a chance to be in the spotlight. Look at when Robby fell off the high platform all because he was distracted by Tory, if they didn't nerf Robby therefore none of the Miyagi do students would have gotten a chance to fight on that platform because Robby himself alone could have done that job with relative ease without any help, remember this is a guy that easily took out an entire dojo that kept up with their training while he was locked away in Juvie despite Robby not being active in training for almost 5 months. You and I both know that Robby's easily the best fighter among the Miyagi do students once he's focused and determined. It all make sense as to why they are nerfing Robby like this just so that other Miyagi characters especially Miguel can get a chance to be in the spotlight. Miguel is the one carrying the team right now and it shows that Robby would have done far better if Robby was focused. Miguel himself knows that Robby wasn't focused and he knows that Robby is way better than this.

Nice reaction and I agree these unnecessary writing things in this season isn't really good Robby getting distraction while in the platform is crazy💀

The writing this season is honestly just not good. So many of these conflicts feel contrived. It's like they took the first draft of every script and just went and filmed it. No editing or nothing. It feels like half the time they are trying to find something for the characters to do rather than having a story to tell. But I have to shoutout Sam going in on Johnny and Devon. I know it was a lil mean but I was so annoyed with the both of them I didn't even care.

yes, aside from Kreese everything else contrived and very obviously so. It's dumb.

I have to firmly disagree with you there. I know Sam was worried about her dad so we should cut her some slack, but she was a complete cow there. A captain should try to inspire their teammates, NOT belittle them.

@@Wright805 Devon sucks and so did Johnny. Johnny did nothing to help them out with his self serving speech in the locker room and Devon needs to sit her ass down and shut up since she shouldn't even be there in the first place.
