I can't thank The CdLS Foundation enough for this conference. It was such a blessing...gosh, beyond a blessing! I left loving my son, Elijah even more! It's a journey, but knowing you're here and all the other families I'm connected with makes a big difference, and I don't feel alone. I can't wait until Minneapolis in 2018. My beautiful daughter Nicole was born with Cornelia De Lange syndrome. She is 30 years old, and has surpassed many obstacles. She is living in a residential home for adults with disabilities. She has a 1 on 1 and is doing well. She does have issues with frustration and anger...but all in all, she is doing well.
Jewel Haines that's awesome to hear! I don't know a whole lot about this, as I just looked it up. but I bet ur daughter is beautiful and you're very proud of her ❤
@@hurryupnow1 Probably cause she is violent towards people, I'm not a doctor, but I've done some research on this syndrome and people with CDLS have similar behavior to those with autism, and sometimes violence is one of them.
God bless all CDLS children and their families. It always boggles my mind that a fertilized egg is SOOOOO tiny and within that TEENY TINY start of life are even TINIER bits of DNA that can have such huge consequences.
Hey & that would not be so bad, but it’s not genetic, or contagious. My son is 4 and adorable . Not what we planned but if doing the journey again we would defo take a detour to pick him up.

i actually have mild CDLS! if i ever have kids they will 100% have CDLS! I am 14 years old!
