Just flew from Seoul. There's no attitude and service is impeccable there. No slackers. I don't think robots can replace that human service experience and efficiency.
If you went to Seoul, then you probably noticed the vending machines that serve hot coffee as well (that tastes pretty good even though it's not fresh). Machines shouldn't have to replace humans, if you just want a quick drink, use the machine. If you want quality and atmosphere, go to a coffee shop with baristas. Coffee-making machines like this becoming commonplace at Starbucks and etc would be pretty stupid
Once the consumer is able to get exactly what they want every single time they will prefer the machine made latte. I am still waiting for my Cherry 2000.
This is freaking stupid, if I'm already putting the order in myself WTF do i need the robot for? I can grab own cup. This is not the task where a root is practical and i don't understand what the point is other than it just being a novelty
Soooooo all it does is put a cup under a machine that does all of the work... And those machines it puts the cup under have been around forever and don’t make the greatest coffee either. Might as well just have a human there....
What a ripoff. Basically a robotic arm that's spinning around some cheap rubbish coffee machines collecting coffee/milk/etc then serving it. WOW. Tell me how is this different from going to a coffee machine with tons of options that gives you a 2$ coffee in 15 seconds? It's just for show "look we made this cool robotic arm, it can make coffee!"
I am guessing the quality of the coffee is better than vending machine coffee. 40 cents is two bucks a week for some coffee drinkers, hence why CafeX will make have business.
This is not really new, I've been getting drinks (including coffee) out of machines for years.
1:10 What, they don't even acknowledge the inventor, Henry Hu, who is standing there in line watching the two guys order coffee?

NO TIPS! : )
(finally someone who will not mess up my order)
It's called a vending machine.....My SAECO vending machines will grind the coffee beans fresh along with make you a variety of beverages.
which is the robotic arm ? can anybody identify the model number
Flavor shots? are there antiviral shots with that also?

Amazon doesn't deliver Cherry 2000s to your home. You have to hire Melanie Griffith to help you find one.
I would rather get a coffee from somebody I can chat about the weather.
I want robots to take all jobs by the 2020s
Sounds good, I'm tired of just reading about bloody civil wars in history books
David Curry same I'm tired of living an outdated system it's time for a new one
Its all started with an innocent latte but ended in the genocide of humanity.

SURE.
"LINES."
LOL.
It would be nice to see Starbucks's have robots I want this stuff to happen quick as possible

IF NOBODY USES THESE THEN PEOPLE WILL NOT BE REPLACED!
DON'T USE THESE THINGS!
THAT'S IT - NOTHING ELSE :)
I dont think there is a necessity to use arm robot. Just vending machine is OK enough. its just for performance
Good grief, make it go away.
A solution in search of a problem
So we now have more expensive coffee vending machines, that "serve" more expensive coffee?

and no need for a liberal arts degree!
Robots save us already

Only 40 cents less than at Starbucks seems a bit high for vending machine coffee.

Glenn Midleton Do u think its worth saving $2/week considering how many people will be out of a job? Only the business wins here
Hanzhen harmoinc drive gear , robot arm gear , over 30 years experience
Good luck getting someone to pay for $6 coffee when no human has an income. Your latte robots might work themselves out of a job.
😉 wake up people... time to invest in yourself and be ready for the future... I love to be entrepreneur. 😙😙😙. U can do it too...
Espresso in a paper cup... weak
