Thanks for the video. I have tried to tape my feet on long multi day hikes and this shows me everything I did wrong.
Thank you
Thank you for the video and the article! Any ideas on how to tape for matial arts where you exercise bare foot and need at least a bit of grip on the ball? My particular problem si taping the big toe and the part of the ball under it
Blisters on the balls of my feet are a recurring problem if/when I walk more than 5-6 km without rest or if I repeat same over 2+ days. What can I do regarding footwear, socks, lubricants etc, to avoid or prevent having to tape the ball of my foot?
I'd go straight for engo patches Gerry. Read this article - it explains these patches and the 4 other strategies: www.blisterprevention.com.au/blogs/blister-blog/blisters-under-the-ball-of-your-foot
Get some better shoes 😂like u walking barefoot?
@@Blister-Prevention Thanks. Engo blister prevention patched worked extremely well.
Will this still work if you’re running through waterand your feet get soaked?
Hard to say for these reasons:
▶ Firstly, whether the tape stays on or not will be determined by the strength of the adhesive. Something like Fixomull Stretch or Leukotape P will definitely stay on. Others aren't so water resistent, like KinesioTex tape.
▶ Secondly, taping isn't necessarily the best way to prevent blisters for these reasons: blisterprevention.com.au/blister-prevention-taping-techniques/.
▶ And finally, I'd use a combination of the following stretegies to prevent blisters across the ball of the foot - read this blisterprevention.com.au/blister-on-bottom-of-foot/
