    I enjoyed your video! I'm excited to see more from you. My locs are interlocked and I started doing them myself last year after having them for almost 6 years and from my experience there's not a lot of people on RUclips that have interlocked locs that are your size.
    My locs are smaller in size compared to yours but still the closest I've seen and I just love watching people that have similar hair and techniques to mine. All the best ♡

    I wish I had encountered this type of video in my initial loc days. A lot of people talk about North, South, East and West, which confuses me. I’ve tried the 2 point and 3 point methods, but in the end, the 4 point worked best for my hair type.

    Love the video!!! Your IG page definitely enticed me to check out your YT channel. Isis, you by far have the best straight-forward, beginner friendly loc maintenance tutorial on YT and your locs are 🔥🔥🔥. Are you planning on posting a video detailing how to start locking one’s hair using your method?

    So if you started off with the twist method would it still be possible to interlock

    Hi, I just recently found your page on Instagram and love your locs! I love your natural hair too and was surprised at how much hair you had after combining it out, that was dope!😩👌🏾💕💕 I recently started my loc journey with twist on 5.20 and I’m so excited. You make interlocking look very easy and I think that’s the method I wanna use on my locs. I wondered tho, you said in the beginning to make sure basically to go the opposite way you went the last time you interlocked your hair. How do you know which direction you went last? Did you start from the same direction for all your locs when you first started them? Or were they all started in different directions and you just remember? I haven’t retightened them yet, and I just wanna make sure I don’t mess them up 😭

      Thank you! And great question.. so I just feel my roots to find the gap where I last interlocked. When your roots grow out there will be like a hole where you last interlocked (sometimes you have to really feel for it to find it if your roots are thick) and it’s important to make sure you don’t go through that hole. Go the opposite (or perpendicular) to that hole. I hope that makes sense! I know it’s a bit confusing.

      @@isisrises thank you for responding. That does make sense, I think I was just confused at first because I haven’t actually started interlocking yet lol. Is that the method you e always used to retie your hair when you started your locs?

      @@sydneywilliams8729 Yes it is. I started my locs with this method as well so it’s the only method I’ve ever used and I loved it

    How often did you retighten in the first year of having your locs, was it every more frequently or still every 4 months?

    • @isisrises
      @isisrises  2 года назад +1

      Yes about every 2-3 months

      @@isisrises well I enjoyed your video and thanks for your prompt response. I learned something new bc I thought with starter locs during those first few months it was recommended to retighten 6 to 8 weeks. I'm glad to know that you can stretch it out more than that without it being detrimental. I'll be trying that with my son. Thanks

    I’m going to do this! I did instant locs on mine and I think I need to interlock it so it’ll loc well..but why didn’t you just use a crotchet needle to do it

    • @isisrises
      @isisrises  2 года назад +2

      The yarn needle is easier for me to work with
