@@cdahl usually dancers would have their own unique style in a dance and she did that on purpose but ya i guess for some ppl it doesnt look good because its not in sync w the other dancers ahha
her hips are crazy flexible.
The fit of the dancers to the characters is impeccable. Even the mannerisms and style choices emulate the character they are portraying. Even the hair! Sera's long expressive ponytail, Kai's long and simple, Akali's big side updo etc. That's some attention to detail right there.

I love that they have an Ahri and Seraphine character interaction in the choreo
Yessss it's such a good mini journey of Sera being inspired by Ahri and stepping forward mirroring the grace of Kai'sa and then finally taking center stage and joining them in the chorus 😍 The small glances looking at the "wow" part really sell her realizing how far she's gotten too :)

Totally agree. The previous kda baddest official video has dance that's out of sync with music but this one is totally perfect. Combination of slow elegant and nice powerful moves is what makes those characters

Things to appreciate in this video:
- All the choreographers and dancers for their planning and smooth execution
- In-character references in the dancing such as Ahri's tails, the fluid yet sharp movements found in both Kai'Sa + Seraphine, the assertive/fierce presence of Evelynn, the bold + energetic movements that represent Akali so well, and Seraphine following the other girls from 2:34 to 2:49
- Shannon's smirk at 2:21
- The camera people for capturing the dancers giving them their time to shine throughout their movements while also contributing to certain transitions
- The smooth editing that complete said transitions and introducing Seraphine into the video
- The lighting for recreating the colors and vibe you get from most K/DA music videos

The Akali part was still F I R E but the Kai'sa dancer really came through for this video, a jump from the rehearsal!
They all did amazing, these are just the stand out performers!

I prefer this so much more than the 1M choreo. This has more personality imo like Akali's part in general where she swipes her neck in this because the lyrics is "I'm slaying like Buffy", Ahri's part where she shows her 9 tails but here it's their hands in the choreo, the soft ballet moves in Seraphine's part, Kai'Sa's part is just *chef's kiss*, the hand swirling movement in "i got more than enough, add it up and away" like the chorus in general is better.
The 1M choreo is too powerful and exaggerated with too many movements for no reason. This one is graceful but with plenty of sharp movements. It's easy to look at. Ugh this is so good.
Edit: watching this daily. Finding new things to appreciate like how in Akali's rap "I hate math, but all of my numbers are talking babe" the dancer is counting her fingers.
I agree with this so much. It's more on the choreographer's style really. 1M likes straining hard, flashy choreo while Kinjaz is more polished, classy yet powerful. Also, Kinjaz had the characters in mind. Both are good but Kinjaz' choreo feels so pleasing to watch.
@@nopenope7937 yeah both are good I'm not discrediting 1M's choreo but I like this better because it showcases the characters really well and it's got more personality. A good choreography doesn't have to be complicated. This is way better.

it's because this is choreographed similar to kpop dances were it would be manageable for the idols to sing live, were 1M focused on complex choreography.
@@Sam-ol5mx I'm very much aware of that. That's what 1M's choreo is: complex. I like 1M choreographies but this one fell short for me because it was too much and I wasn't feeling the vibe of "K/DA". It just felt like a standard 1M choreo idk what they were going for but I was expecting some sort of personality of the k/da members but maybe they just focused on the lyrics only. Even then I felt it's a bit much. Why go that hard? I'm not a dancer by any means I prefer Kinjaz version. And I'm glad this one ended up as the official because it's so badass but still elegant. This is hands down excellent. Seraphine in this choreo was in the popstars choreo too and she's so talented. They're all talented.
This is K/DA. Not your typical k-pop choreography but it fits the K/DA, definitely. After re-watching it, I got actual goosebumps while focusing on the details of the choreo. It's like contemporary hiphop meets k-pop. I know some solo k-pop artists do contemporary and also some idol groups, but it definitely hits different with K/DA. As the title suggests, yes, please give us "MORE".
Plus, they look freaking elegant while dancing. MAD RESPECT!

Personally I thought the dancers in the pop star choreography video (even though a dancer in this video was from the pop star vid) were much more dialed in, and in sync. But this was still a great one.

@@supahunter9110 I mean I obviously don't know their exact process but if you film an actual video you obviously make more takes, make sure the angles are perfect, you generally try a bit harder, that sort of thing
I appreciate how you guys use the full stage and have the dancers facing different directions at some points! Makes the dance feel very 3D and unique in that sense!
I don't' mean this in a perv way but omg the way Shannon moves her hips is insane!! They're super solid(1:04) when it needs to be and then other times it's smooth as hell(1:10) Like girl omg s-t-u-n-n-i-n-g. Also, she's so pretty 😳

And I Agree with other coment, I wish this was the Worlds 2020 opening KDA part, it's AMAZING! Great job and congratulations to everyone who was a part on it.
There was a comment reply saying this actually was the choreo that they used for the opening, so I went back to it and checked and they were correct!
This choreo is amazing, but I think it was more on the execution of the ceremony that didn't lend itself to this. The botched character models (save Eve), poor camera angle choices, and use of space were in my opinion what made the opening ceremony so.... lackluster, to be civil about it. Of course COVID played a huge factor in a lot of it so I'm not gonna add too much gas to the fire.
Worlds 2021 will be in China again so hopefully it'll be a step up, and hopefully Kinjaz will have a hand in the dances again!

Seraphine's part was really beautiful! I loved how you combined both styles of dance seemlessly.
The transition from 2:04-2:18 was so smooth and subtle. This was amazing in it's entirety. 10/10
seeing this danced by real people, i can tell how much effort riot's team went for creating such an incredible choreo with this banger of a song
I mean it was choreographed by one of the dancers, who were only hired by Riot. (Then *later* animated for the LoL music video.) But I agree it's insane and wonderful that they funded and produced a dance video of this quality.

Akali dances so DAMN CLEAN, all of her movements are very readable, GREATE ANGLES, and really good pace. and doesn't over dance

It's so refreshing to not see the bounciness in the animation at "you look like you could do some more" from the MV
I like this version more then the rito’s one. Even there are just a little differences but the differences make me feel this is more “live” and fit.
I feel like both versions have their good parts. For example, The Akali and Kai'sa verses had more expressive camera work and dance movement in Riots Version. The rest the cover was better in this version.
The only thing i really miss in this one is that the camera doesn't capture the exchange of smiles between Seraphine and (I think) Ahri. That is a special moment in the Riot video!

It is very difficult to learn this but I will not give up until I fully memorize it, and it may be difficult but not impossible!!!
They already have the tutorial/practice video for this dance, you should watch it , and i am sure you can, cause they are so kind to teach you in slow-mo so much more easy to follow 👍✌️ i already try it and i can 😀

For those people saying this is a Cover, No this is not a cover. This is the official choreo used in the MV. It was them who danced the MV. They did not adapt the MVs moves. The MV adapted their moves.
