Irene's dance is so graceful, fluid, smooth and classy. Seulgi's dance is so sharp, powerful, precise and very cool. Their chemistry is so good. They compliment each other from vocals to dancing.
I feel like its the opposite tho, seulgi makes it fluid and bouncy even when its not necessarily, while irene hits the moves with exact strength and sharpness
So it might look easy for some people but tbh tutting is something that you can't master within days because of the precision and angles that you need to make, the angles needs to look clean and sharp that's why it takes a lot of time in practicing tutting specially if you just started it, i'm really proud with irene and seulgi :'>

tutting is not easy at all. it require an extreme amount of precision and practice. and doing a tutting choreography with another person is even more difficult because you have to get every single gesture correct and align it with the other person. these two girls are insanely talented for pulling this off so flawlessly they better win a choreo award for this

They focused to show on movements that highlights the essence of tutting. Well this is a choreography video after all and not a regular dance practice video.

Well as a choreographer and a performer for many years, I can say for sure that this is one of the most difficult ( if not the most difficult ) chorography that I have seen from a girl group ( and any group in general ). @@renebaebun She is. I believe most of the Reveluvs know that. It's just that those who knew and admired her for her visuals didn't expect it because basically they don't follow Red Velvet. Although she's still moderately far behind Seulgi's versatility and techniques, she's a really good dancer.
She's LEAD dancer for a reason. People who overlooked her skills for her visuals missed out on a lot. I personally think she's definitely on par with Seulgi, she could be main dancer and Seulgi the lead dancer, nobody would notice anything. I never seen her breaking a sweat during the 2x faster dances and she's the most flexible member in RV.

this is some of the most technical choreo i've seen in a while. it's not so movement heavy as it is precision-based. with a lot of kpop choreo, you can kinda add your own flare to a move and have it still blend well in a group setting, but one move out of place, or one lacking moment with this choreo and it kinda throws the vibe off..which is why it's impressive that irene and seulgi pulled it off so well! they need to be given their flowers for this, seriously.
As 14 year old intermediate dancer this choreo is totally outstanding just the way the move their arms and fingers it amazes me very much and Im trying their choreography these days in quarantine and it has been exhausting ,imagine how much they practiced to conquer this amazing choreography

this is the first time i have ever seen something so unique, in terms of visuals. the choreo from their positions, arms to hands, and how the camera shoots at a great angle. everything's just amazingly creative! almost mesmirizing ✨

Bro I dont even follow RV that much but this is one of my favorite chores ever. It's kinda rare to see kpop groups step out of their comfort zones in dance. They really mostly just stick to their best style. You don't really see tutting in kpop, so major props to Irene and Seulgi for doing this.

What I like about Irene is that you can really see her working hard as a member of Red Velvet... Her being the visual of the group may automatically make people think she does not have the talent because she has the face but people should really see that she practice hard to master their choreographies and never make the quality of their choreography go down... I have a group that I stan that have a visual that somewhat making the overall choreography of the group messy since that person lacks the skills than the rest of the group and somewhat also lacks practice. SM really have visuals that have talents to be proud of for sure. And just by seeing the results of Irene's performances, made me think that whether she had the "bad" attitude or not, as long as an idol she does her job well, and she is a great leader to her members, I think those "bad attitude moments" that she displays have reasons behind it and that she is not a bad person. People can easily accuse her of stuffs now because she did admit having a bad attitude moment and her admitting that somewhat really takes courage but even though she will be more vulnerable of attacks now, she still did admit that she has done wrong... Well, I just hope SM will help Irene sue people who will try to attack her without a solid evidence now since people will most likely just believe anything about her bad attitude... I'm not even really a Reveluv but I love Red Velvet it's just that I'm not really looking into more of their stuffs except their songs and performances so I can't really tell their personalities but as I have observed, Irene is someone who is kinda Introvert and serious but her behavior really changes whoever she is with so maybe some of those accusers that Irene have a bad attitude is just because of how her personality works with them. Agreed. I'm quite sure there was a good reason behind her anger - the incident happened after a performance in which her mic or transmitter detached from her dress and fell down on the stage. It shouldn't have happened. Irene tries her best in everything she does and expects the same from the people around her, including her stylist.
It happened for a reason and that's for sure!! but irene took the blame all by herself, and that what made me respect her even more because she handled the situation well without hiding behind her company or trying to excuse her wrong behavior. People make mistakes and it's fine as long as she doesn't repeat the mistake again :)

Although she's still moderately far behind Seulgi's versatility and techniques, she's a really good dancer.
She's LEAD dancer for a reason. People who overlooked her skills for her visuals missed out on a lot. I personally think she's definitely on par with Seulgi, she could be main dancer and Seulgi the lead dancer, nobody would notice anything. I never seen her breaking a sweat during the 2x faster dances and she's the most flexible member in RV.

this is some of the most technical choreo i've seen in a while. it's not so movement heavy as it is precision-based. with a lot of kpop choreo, you can kinda add your own flare to a move and have it still blend well in a group setting, but one move out of place, or one lacking moment with this choreo and it kinda throws the vibe off..which is why it's impressive that irene and seulgi pulled it off so well! they need to be given their flowers for this, seriously.

She definitely showcase her talent in dancing this comeback. Her no.1 problem in their past songs was lack of consistency. Sometimes she looks like she doesn’t want to perform in the stage.

Why is everyone saying that Irene has improved? She has always been good, I think she used to be a little low on stage presence for their red concepts, but she is a good dancer. It's baffling that people are noticing this just now, wth. Also some are saying they were worried she wouldn't be able to pull it off, wth? Watch her pre debut video with Seulgi where they danced be natural. Anyways this sub-unit was the best thing to happen this year, stan Red Velvet😘

@@ariels.7870 Well she's overshadowed as a vocalist in RV because their vocal lineup is stacked AF, and the group isn't exactly known for rapping, and their rap lineup isn't exactly what the general public view as strong. So it's definitely more profitable for them to push her as a visual. Especially since everyone idolizes her visuals anyway.

What I like about Irene is that you can really see her working hard as a member of Red Velvet... Her being the visual of the group may automatically make people think she does not have the talent because she has the face but people should really see that she practice hard to master their choreographies and never make the quality of their choreography go down... I have a group that I stan that have a visual that somewhat making the overall choreography of the group messy since that person lacks the skills than the rest of the group and somewhat also lacks practice. SM really have visuals that have talents to be proud of for sure. And just by seeing the results of Irene's performances, made me think that whether she had the "bad" attitude or not, as long as an idol she does her job well, and she is a great leader to her members, I think those "bad attitude moments" that she displays have reasons behind it and that she is not a bad person. People can easily accuse her of stuffs now because she did admit having a bad attitude moment and her admitting that somewhat really takes courage but even though she will be more vulnerable of attacks now, she still did admit that she has done wrong... Well, I just hope SM will help Irene sue people who will try to attack her without a solid evidence now since people will most likely just believe anything about her bad attitude... I'm not even really a Reveluv but I love Red Velvet it's just that I'm not really looking into more of their stuffs except their songs and performances so I can't really tell their personalities but as I have observed, Irene is someone who is kinda Introvert and serious but her behavior really changes whoever she is with so maybe some of those accusers that Irene have a bad attitude is just because of how her personality works with them. She is already an idol for 6 years and last year's scandal is just the first big scandal regarding her behavior (correct me if I'm wrong) so no one questions what she behaves for last 6 years without any trouble with the staffs she worked with? Wouldn't it have been more easy to attack her with her behavior when she was still a Rookie? Well, just my thought about Irene...
Agreed. I'm quite sure there was a good reason behind her anger - the incident happened after a performance in which her mic or transmitter detached from her dress and fell down on the stage. It shouldn't have happened. Irene tries her best in everything she does and expects the same from the people around her, including her stylist.

It happened for a reason and that's for sure!! but irene took the blame all by herself, and that what made me respect her even more because she handled the situation well without hiding behind her company or trying to excuse her wrong behavior. People make mistakes and it's fine as long as she doesn't repeat the mistake again :)
Imagine hating irene because she got angry for minutes when they literally hate her for several months,on top of that they demand apology when they weren't the victim. And when she apologized,"she just apologized because she got caught"
