Good seeing Rory again... That bike looks so good... His helmet looks like the old Daytona helmet... Thanks for sharing... Much love.... Stay healthy and safe...
I have a 2020 Ducati Panigale V2 with the Akrapovič slip-on installed from the factory in Italy. First of all, my bike sounds AMAZING! You're correct about microphone being incapable of capturing the true sounds of the engine and exhaust. Secondly, when I'm cruising on the highway at 70 mpg in 6th gear, my bike averages about 84 miles per gallon! That is amazing. I think Jaret said 50 MPG because he also considered city driving. Lastly, this bike gets nowhere near as hot as the 959 Panigale. People don't understand how greatly this bike improves over the 959 Panigale. I am extremely happy with my purchase.
So happy to hear you are loving the bike man! And yes my 50mpg was the average and considering I ride it pretty hard I was impressed haha. And I do agree...the more I ride it the more I realize how much better it is over the 959
Jaret Campisi Jare bear, you’ve ridden an r ninet before. That was my bike before I lost it. How would you compare that with this. Really trying to decide whether to go back or change to this v2. Keep up the sick videos man 🙌🏽
Enjoy Rory. I use Motul 300V green stuff in one of my bikes. Ester based racing oil but needs to be changed around 3-5000 miles vs the longer version 7100 that lasts 10,000 miles. Both are ester based with polarity charged to metal surfaces for extreme use as form a tough film on surfaces. Use your local shop occasionally to keep them in business. All vehicles need yearly software updates.
Being that your in sunny California should do a gear breakdown of what jacket, gloves, helmet, jeans and shoes you wear? Even if it’s just a short portion of the next vid 👍🏿
Dude thank you so much for making this video. I’ve been asking all the V2 RUclipsrs to make videos of the V2 service but no one has, until you. My rear brake reservoir also has a bad color even after flushing with RBF 600. I might have to take it to the dealer because I don’t know how to activate the ABS to do the flush correctly.
Jaret i did some numbers for you! I can say that the V2 wheels (also the standard V4) are just over 5 lbs heavier than the V4S wheels. So you really need to get some carbon wheels because 1-You will make the wheels a lot lighter compared to the Streetfighter wheel change. 2- If this bike already had the best handling, imagine after the carbon wheels. I calculated the following: The V2 wheels will weigh-in at 20.1 lbs and the carbon wheels just 11 lbs. You will save 9,1 lbs on just the wheels, thats 11 pounds of savings with the chain & sprockets and then the rear brake upgrade would make it even lighter. Then you have the exhaust, ducati says you will lose exactly 15,45 lbs with it. So finally, with exhaust, carbon wheels and chain/Sprockets YOU WILL SAVE 26,55 LBS!!!! Good luck brother
Another great video. When you come to change the wheels, assume you’ll be changing axel nuts too. Can you guys talk about the mechanical strength of the aftermarket options ? Be great to hear Rory’s opinion on those. Thanks from Scotland 🏴
I get 39mpg on my full exhaust and fully tuned ZX6R never saw 50 a day in my life lol. Owners manual on my ZX6R says clean and lube chain every 400 miles. I have to imagine that’s pretty standard for most sport bikes.
After seeing all that work you did to it for that break in, Im starting to wonder if mine has any issues :o sadly my dealer for my duc is a harley dealer that sells ducatis, they know nothing about them.
Hi bro! big fan of you from india. Whenever you do a service or modified the bike you and your service boy will done a excellent job with neat and clean.
Which bike would be more fun to drive on the street the V4 Street fighter or the V twin pinnacle. I do love the look of the twin better I’m coming off the 996 Ducati that had everything including cams done to it
I’m coming off of 996 Ducati with SPS cams Love the look but it wasn’t comfortable to ride for a while. Unless going fast. Now I’m thinking of the new version Twin pentacle were the street fighter not sure which ones more fun to ride on the street. Also didn’t know if the streetfighter has that much more power or not noticeably different would like any hope possible to make my decision
really like the way this bike looks but would never put up with the high cost for parts and maintenance. At the end of the day looks are important, but reliability wins out for me.
I'll be completely honest I never really look at how much I make from these...as long as I can break even on the donations and make money from the youtube content I'm happy. If I was really about making as much profit as possible I wouldn't be buying super expensive ducati's and putting the most expensive parts on them. haha I just do it because I love it and that's it :)

I love Ducatis but not sure I want one for a track bike. Appreciate your thoughts!!

Love an update with Rory in it, great how he always explains things. The streetfighter outside looked in a sorry state, problems with it? Keep the updates coming on the V2 Jaret really enjoying them 👍🏻
What people refer to motorcycles ruining the world is the pollute way more than cars and it gets horrifically worse when someone removes the catalytic converter. Mythbusters did an episode that shows the difference in harmful pollutants difference between cars and motorcycles. if you'd like to see the comparison.
@@Cjfjznajqkfodoz, That's pure comedy. Zero facts but very funny. Do what you want to your exhaust, it's your bike. This is from wired.com, just google "do motorcycles pollute less than cars" if you don't believe me. Right now they are the only ones that offer both for their motorcycles. They had the EPA or CARB punish them a few years back.

So is one person wining both or are you picking one person for each bike?
