Hi! First of all, thank you for the video and the macros. However, the macros don't run correctly in my Word: at the InsertNumberedEquation command, a window opens saying "the element with the specified name does not exist" and then a 1x2 table appears. What's wrong? Thanks!!!
This helped me so much thank you! But I have a question: I need to reffer to particular equation numbers with chapter in the text - e.g. See equation (1.3). However, the "Insert Number Refference" is not working at all (i don't know why, it only says "One of the values passed to the method or property is incorrect". And when I tried the "Insert Theorem Number With Chapter" it works, but it reffers to the lowest number in numbering. My problem is that I am not reffering to all the equations only a few of them. It does not let me reffer to (1.3) if I have not reffered to (1.2) beforehand. Can you please help me? Thank you very much in advance and keep up the good work!
Hi, the video is very helpful, Thanks, I have one doubt to ask. So whenever I use Increase chapter macro, the equations inserted will be numbered based upon the chapter number give for example in Chapter 1 the first equation will be EQ 1.1. But now I realised that I have entered the wrong chapter number I,e. instead of chapter 1, it should have been chapter 2, now how can I update the rest of the equation which is already linked to chapter 1 1, tried hitting the update button it did not work Many thanks
aonehelp The spacing seems to be fixed for the column number 2 where the equation should be entered.. It should be editable.. Meaning, the column width should be editable.

The Macro has to be updated as the table created for the equations aren't easily editable.
I could not get you. Why we need to edit the table?
