Yet it's a cruel cycle because the more she hears his terrible abuse the less confident she is and the more dependent she feels on him. I really wish he would just break up with her for as bad as he says she is! Then she could move on before more damage is done to her psyche!

I find Tian Rong's character overwhelmingly dense. Its stressful watching her. Hard to believe she graduated law school with this personality. Her scenes make my heart heavy. I feel loke punching some sense into her so she can smell the coffee. To think that there are people like her in real life. Eish
The woman with the husband need to leave him because he’s emotionally abusive. He’s always putting on her down and the bf with low self-esteem is not going to make it in that relationship and I think he might cheat to feel butter about himself
I hate that Li MuJia has to break up with her boyfriend. The writers could have written a good story about growing a relationship and not letting outside forces influence the relationship. Building trust with your partner and solidifying that trust. Her and Xiao Ding already had that little argument with her being busy, and in the last episode, he seemed to become more understanding, and she promised she would do better by keeping him informed. I love that progress, and it is healthy for people in a relationship to be understanding of each other and work out any misunderstanding, as well as making compromises. The writers could also explore the stock gambling phase Xiao Ding seems to be getting himself into. It would make a good love story. They'll go through joy and sorrow together. BUT, of course, they have to break up so she can get together with that other guy. TT

The other partner always conveniently becomes insecure, or they let others influence the relationship for the sake of the writers introducing the other lead of the story. We could just start with that lead, to be honest, and the story progresses as I've mentioned.
