Prayer is so unbelievably powerful and I have unfortunately or fortunately needed a lot of that this year. People who you never expected are right by your side no matter what and it's a wonderful feeling. I love your videos and I hope and pray you feel better every day.
You are a brave girl. Such a sweetheart, worrying about us. Take good care of yourself, and I will continue to pray for a speedy recovery.
You poor girl! I don't know how you did all that you did on YT in November and this month being so sick! Thank goodness you did not have a rupture; that is really dangerous. Thank you for filling us in on all that happened. I'm really happy for you to be on the mend, and hope that the healing is fast, but don't rush yourself. Yes, we love you!
I am so happy you went back to the hospital! I experienced a ruptured appendix and it is horrible. It was a three week stay in the hospital with my stomach being pumped every several hours the first couple of days after surgery. Almost did not survive, but I did. Therefore, you did the right thing by going in. I am praying for you to have a fast recovery. You are loved by so many!
Wow! I'm so sorry you had to endure so much pain for so long! I'm seriously glad that you are doing much better and are slowly getting back. Take care of you first and foremost. Goodness. I am so glad you're on the mend. My mom had a ruptured appendix many years ago on Christmas Eve because the surgeon didn't want to come in to do the surgery. I almost lost her because of it. I am so glad you listened to your body and went back to the ER. And Happy Sweet 16 to your daughter!
You were lucky to get the right diagnosis. My mom got the runaround and the wrong diagnosis for a week. During that week her appendix ruptured, she lived 4 days and died in the hospital with very poor care.I thank God that you were blessed.

Lessons for everyone 1. Don't refuse tests. 2. Listen to your body 3. Narcotics can make some people very depressed and make you go to a bad place. I'm so glad you got help before it was really a terrible situation with a ruptured appendix. I think you look great. I'm so happy you are on the mend.

I am genuinely sorry to hear that you were in sooooo much pain and felt so alone. When you are a single mom, you feel the weight of that responsibility 24/7... and try to just keep-on keeping-on. It sounds like your body gave you a wake-up call. You have conquered the appendix scare and have come away with some profound insights...good for you! You've talked it all through with yourself, family and your video friends. I think you have handled this whole emergency with a lot of grace and dignity...and have come out the other side an even stronger woman. Pamper your body and let your body heal at it's own pace. We only want you back in the game...when you are completely well and feeling fine.

Wow! What a story hopefully it helps people in that situation. Always go thru the battery of tests, better to make sure instead of suffering due to an incorrect diagnosis. Glad you are at home & we will be here waiting for when you are up for any posts. We Love you too!
I'm so glad that you got to the bottom of your pain, got a diagnosis in time, and are recovering so quickly! It's great that you were able to make it to your daughter's 16th birthday party because you might not have handled missing it well. That mom fight that got you to the party, is the same mom fight that had you push through, ignoring your pain. It's a mom's greatest gift and flaw. Continue to rest and recover. Don't worry about how you look, though you look great, especially after what you've been through, we're just happy to see you!!

My son endured going to his pediatrician, urgent care clinics, emergency rooms and numerous calls to his doctor and no one could find out these he had a ruptured appendix. Needless to say after an MRI they discovered he had 2 masses, which was caused by the ruptured appendix. After 21 days in the hospital and not being able to east for over a month, hemorrhaging, feeding tubes, multiple blood transfusions, being in the ICU and 4 surgeries every 2 days he's finally all better. Being 16yrs old, 5ft 8in tall and leaving the hospital weighing less than 110lbs...I'm just thankful he's so much better because his organs were not responding. Glad you're better and that they caught it before it could gotten worse.

Ugh.. ALL of the feels watching this video. I will always tell people who are going through any type of medical issues about the peace that comes with a diagnosis. The uncertainty and anxiety that comes with feeling terrible and not knowing what is wrong... it is brutal. Once you get a diagnosis, answers, information, etc., you can start the process of healing; feeling better, and kicking whatever it is in the butt!! Thank you for sharing your story, for letting us know. As important as your viewers are to you. you are just as important to us. I live a sorta lonely life and when I see a video from you I get super excited to see what you have bought, created, or just feel like talking about. Hopefully each day brings you closer to feeling better than ever. :)

However, although I understand how scared and upset you were, rightfully so, remember that the nurses were only doing their job. I am NOT a nurse, nor do I work in the medical profession, but I do respect them and the work they do. They are caring individuals and they do a lot of things to make sure we stay alive. I am certain that they would much rather not be having to wake you up to do their job, especially when you were so sick, but they had to monitor your vital signs to make sure you stable and were not getting worse. I think it would be nice to apologize to the nurses that took care of you during your time of need in your next video post, and nurses everywhere. Love and peace. ❤️. Feel better soon.
I'm so so so happy that you are healthy! To now be able to breathe, relax and share this holiday season with loved ones, free from pain....what a blessing! I feel like everything that is you (your personality, your movie picks, the affinity for home decor and crafting that you have, how kind and funny you are), is the whole package of someone whom I would consider as a best friend or even sister. I'm sorry you had to go through such fear, I know that feeling very well. Except when I woke up , the recovery room nurse, informed me I did have cancer. It had spread everywhere. So when I see a video about an appendectomy, it's minor compared to what my body has been through. At any rate, I'm glad you're better. Get well soon.

I had my gallbladder removed unexpectedly this summer, on my son's birthday. A pain woke me up in the middle of the night and I couldn't take, I went to the hospital and they said, you need to have surgery. So, I definitely understand. I am glad that you are recovering well and I pray that you recover fully!

I have a muscle disease that struck me 5 yrs ago out of nowhere and when you were taking about your not having confidence in your body and fearing it wouldn't holdup I related so deeply to that. I'm so glad you are doing better now. I can completely relate to what you have gone through as I went through 7 years of appendicitis attacks before they finally removed them by emergency surgery - they were described as the size of a nerf football and I ended up spending 14 days in the hospital. It was a horrible experience that I hoped no one I knew would ever have to go through. I found that it took awhile to really feel better after being so close to a rupture and the best advice I was given and would give is to take it easy and look after yourself as your health is important. Take care and feel better.

Glad to hear all went well! Keep getting plenty of rest. Also, speaking as a night shift RN, we really hate to wake patients up at night but, you know, Dr.s orders. Vital signs are often the first indicator of a problem and if we fail to catch it by skipping them...everyone loses.
Also, don't feel bad about Googling your symptoms and not trusting your body to make it through surgery, even as an RN, I'm the same.
