This is for her maternal grandfather who died when she was 13 who was Japanese and would take walks in Oslo helping the poor and homeless taking Angelina with him which is why she still does it in LA.
That was so good another great reaction to Angelina. 👍

I don't know if you've noticed this before but her tones are so perfect and on key, that at times they melt together with the dominant instrument. It's this cool harmonizing stereo effect. And there's zero auto tune. This happens in alot of her songs over the years. Listen for it. 👍
From around this time frame about 2.5 years ago I like the Video version better IMHO. That said she did her best version to date at her 2 Norway concerts in summer of 2022.

It is simply my humble opinion but, when I say that Angelina is the best Talent around, I am not referring to impressive qualities in the low or high notes as many other very good singers have but from all the technical / vocal baggage Angelina possesses, the natural distortion in the voice, the tone, the timing of the notes in relation to the instrument a wonderful vibrato used in a surgically perfect way and not, as many singers do, who insert it everywhere thinking of making more scene, the treble perfectly dosed the right and not to impress the listener, no effort or mimic scene to accentuate pain or drama, in short a microphone 2 instruments and his voice for a masterpiece written at only 14 years of age!!!!!Sorry to all good singers that there are but, Angelina is just on another planet, thanks a lot Alex, good continuation ... Massimo
The judge in Norway Got talent was so right when she said back in 2013 after seeing 'Gloomy Sunday' "Angelina, you ARE music". You really should listen to her rendition of this 'Million Miles' during the live-concert in Oslo, July 2022 (it is on RUclips as well). I mean: this video is already impressive, but that is even more impressive.

Shoutout to the Pianist two times Grammy Award winner Rob Christie the musical director of Republic Records, I’m pleased Angelina appears to have a good relationship with Republic Records who allowed Angelina to flourish in her own way,Angelina’s family had conditions when she signed with the record company, one condition was Angelina would complete her education!

This is a wonderful original from Angelina. The powerful message speaks to the pain we all feel losing someone so dear and close. Death is the last enemy and will end. They live in our vivid memories and Will return.
Regarding the trajectory of Angelina's growth as a vocalist, one of the judges of NGT said that the thought of what she would be able to do in ten years, at age eighteen, was 'incomprehensible' (my paraphrase). I have the same thought now, though not about just her level of skill and technique, but the range of styles and genres she can cover so effortlessly.
Everything about how Angelina and her parents have rolled out her 10 years of childhood performances has been top notch and very wise. As more and more people discover her majesty their enjoyment of the 10 years will match everyone else's to date.
It's all very magnificent. She is spectacular.

"Million Miles" was written by Angelina in tribute to her maternal grandfather and she dedicated it to anyone who has lost a loved one. It was the first song released on Republic Records in November 2020 after she signed with them in August of 2020. Angelina and her music, and especially this song, has improved the quality of my life, as I feel much more emotionally stable.
Angelina wrote this with a team. Record companies always like artists to write with teams as it means they share in the writting credits and royalties. Angelina wrote Shield at 12 and was the youngest published Norwegian author aged 9. So do not assume she had a minor role in the writting as I have seen some do, because of her age.There are 4 versions of this .according to fans in the audience the live in concert last year was best

The line in the song "I'll never regret what I do" was because her grandfather had always advised her to avoid doing things that she could end up regretting.
Absolutely phenomenal heartfelt felt performance the lyrics are amazing, Angelina wrote Million Miles her first original with Republic Records, as a tribute to her Grandfather who passed away, the song was significant to many of people who lost loved ones during the pandemic, there are 4 versions of Million Miles. A studio version, A musical video version where Angelina’s Grandmother shot the video and featured Angelina’s Sister Juliette and her Uncle Mike who is her manager, A artistic version where Angelina’s Grandmother paints the artwork Angelina’s Grandmother is a talented Iranian artist and poet, A live performance in Angelina’s home country in the Summer of 2022 where she was phenomenal live great memories of her outstanding performances, great reaction thanks 🙏

This song obviously has a very deep emotional root. Her mother's father passed away in November 2019 after a short illness. This was between the recording of her performances in America's got talent the champions (Sept/Oct 2019) and the grand finale in Jan 2020. Certainly my favourite song by her, especially having attended her concert in July 2022, I was standing just a few feet away from her, it was such an intense experience - even a further step up from this performance in 2020...
That Certainly was a Once-in-a-Lifetime Moment for you, being So Close to such an Intense performance from such a True and Emotional soul as Angelina; she has trouble keeping it together performing MILLION MILES - I am amazed she does so at all. I am looking Forward to Sept 22nd when I will have the opportunity for just the same experience you had last July - my seat in Portsmouth is Front Row Center - directly in front of her !

Hey, I just commented with a link to another Reaction of MILLION MILES by another Angelina newbie Reactor that I requested - check it out - link is there.
There are two other versions of this song in addition to this one, and all versions are great. The first one was an animation video created by grandma Mery Zamani; in that one the Barefoot Angel is climbing a ladder to go to the Moon which has a special meaning for me. The other one is the official video released by Republic Records.
You've just heard three of Angelina's original songs. The development is incredible, and that at 14 she sings like a mature 30-something professional is unbelievable. What will she sound like when she really is 30-something? Great series of reactions, Alex. Always keen to hear more from the Pearl of Norway.
