    Mads lost for words? Now there’s a first! 😂 Gee, I lost count of the times it looked like you could easily have fallen off the edge of the cliffs, especially when you were stood on the rock - it looked like oblivion was just one accidental slip away 😮 the result was indeed some absolutely epic photos. Thanks for all your hard work Mads

    Mads, you are hands down my most favourite landscape photographer. Your photos are of such incredible quality and are a testimony to how much effort you put in. And your videos convey such strong passion for the craft. It's absolutely contagious and makes me wanna go out practice myself.

    There is a saying here Mads "That you make your own luck" and I think your video epitomised it as you all certainly deserved to capture some great images considering the conditions you were dealing with. I think the snow stuck really made the scenes pop against the landscape and the light too. Great episode and looking forward to the next one already

      I always make sure to not get close to the edge (for the most part 😅) It looks dramatic, but there's usually no more than 1 - 2 meters down on the other side :)

    If I were to ever try to get to that vantage point at Kalsoy (not likely), it would probably be on my hands and knees. Of course, to me, all of the Faroes present an acrophobic nightmare. I'll enjoy the photos from afar. Carry on! 👍🥂

    I would still probably nope out on walking past the lighthouse on Kalsoy, crampons or not 😬 So happy that you got such amazing conditions. At first I was a little envious since I’m stuck in the city, and then I remembered I’ll be in Patagonia in 2 weeks and felt better 😂

    You have my respect to go out there on the cliffs in those snowy conditions in Kalsoy!
    Last summer I've been at the lighthouse but it felt way too sketchy to go there because it was so windy haha 😂

      Hehe, yeah, it was getting back the 3rd time where it got a little scetchy as the wind just kept a constant preasure. My sun glasses even blew away 😅

    Thank you for your tips. My most difficult lens for getting acceptable and, if I’m lucky, great compositions is my 20mm - the widest one I have. I’m much more comfortable at 24mm and above.
    The one thing experience has taught me, besides foreground interest and leading lines is GET CLOSE to the main subject. Too often, I end up minimizing the backgrounds in the composition.
    As a result, I most often relegate this lens to Astrophotography.
    It might be useful if you talked a bit more about distances, as in from camera to the background subject, when using a wide angle, say 20mm or less.

    You standing on that rock near the cliff was super scary. Were u not afraid of the height or wind? Or the slippery snow.

      Not at all, there were like 0,5 meters down on the other side. It's just the perspective making it look dangerous :)
