In the industry that has more than 1000 different flavors from various brands it is easy to get lost and distracted. This post would give a little insight on the main players in the industry and hopefully answer the question on what brand of tobacco is the best for you.
For the purpose of simplification of this process we will discuss brands such as Al Fakher, Nakhla, Starbuzz, Fumari, Serbetli, Tangiers, and Lavoo. All of these brands are unique and offer various flavors for everyone.
We encourage you to try these flavors at our hookah lounge next time you are in Los Angeles.
The flavors that we mentioned are small fraction of what hookah industry has up its sleeves. There is constant flow of new flavors and brands that emerge in the industry. All of the brands have their own unique ways of delivering joy while smoking so don’t be held back from trying them all. *Red:* Burns easier, definitely more tender, needs 1-2 coals.
*Blonde:* Mid resistance, countless flavours, needs 2-3 coals.
*Black:* High resistance, heavier on smoke, needs 4 coals to start, and continues with 3.
*Prefer 26mm coals, for longer session and Kaloud instead of aluminum foil.*

So I busted out laughing when you brought up bacon.. storytime! I worked at a Tangier’s lounge in California for 2 years and we had a guy in his 50s come in EVERYDAY and get bacon-little purple candy- cane everyday. I tried to start it once and almost threw up. Lol my go to with Tangier’s was always peach iced tea- Kiki - cane. But sadly I left California and now live in a state where it is very difficult to get tobacco but very close to where they produce trifecta so that is my new go to brand!

Yes! And the best part is that we DID NOT under any circumstance carry bacon and he would just bring it.. god bad memories haha, I need to get some Tangier’s and trifecta but lockdown and not being able to ship to Washington is terrible

Hearing about the stronger ones, especially the Tangiers one, sounds deadly 😂
try to mix it with lighter tobacco on the bottom, make it layers, and put only small amounts of tangier..
but if you want a challenge just use tangier 😂

Actually smoking hookah it’s very popular in Middle Eastern culture, it’s started after discovered the Arabic coffee, that’s why coffee shops begging, a place to meet people
The facts about hookah:
1-In the past smoking were only in winter or at the rainy weather not in summer.
2- smokers should be older than 30 because it’s for tough men
3-not allowed for women because it’s make their voices very masculine which is not nice for feminine.
4-it’s a great to gathering people & talk around.
There’re many names:
hookah in India.
Nargela in some of Arab countries which means coconut 🥥 because the first one made it from coconut.
Shisha in Egypt & Gulf countries & it’s means Glass (Turkish word)
Gudo In Kuwait it’s Arabic but it’s rare to see people smoking it these days because it’s very hard to smoke & very dry just tobacco no flavors & made from pottery & they were use bamboo pipe not hose
Nowadays in Arab countries all ages & genders mostly young guys/girls smoking shisha/hookah.

Unfortunately i dont know :( its also hard to find original Adalya tobacco here in Turkey, its made in Turkey but they only sell to Germany :( there are bunch of fake Adalya tobaccos, its also hard to find here too haha

Mint and lemon is perfect
Peach al fakher with tangiers cane mint....ive tried everything else lol best basic flavor with an amazing strong and sweet mint flavor...zumerret fresh cane mint mixes in well on top, if you want it sweeter while maintaining the strength and smoke....imo lol cheers

Hello. Can you plz guide if I should keep 4 hose hookah (which I have already) OR just get single hose hookah. coz we have gatherings with friends sometimes and everybody wants to make clouds. And I dont think that 4 hose hookah i have its making similar clouds like you guys. ;) can you plz tell me what to do. I dont know its coz of 4 hoses pipes or its coz of brand or something else. Awesome video! I tend to have alot of problems with Dark leaf tobacco (trifectas dark leaf and tangiers). I feel like I do not really get any flavor, I pack medium dense bowl and use a lotus with 3 coals. Any recommendations?
3 coals should be good to start with. Take one charcoal off after 5 minutes and leave 2 charcoals only. Also do not forget to keep the temperature constant by doing long steady draws
It needs to be more dense than that when you pack it by pressing down on it using your palm. Try it out

What do you guys think of AFZAL? I'm from South Africa and haven't seen a variety of flavours as yet.
Those are really specific flavors that not everyone enjoy unfortunately. However if you prefer the woody, tobacc-ish flavors, Afzal is great for you!
Nice to see another South African hookah smoker 😆 I've moved away from afzal flavour because most of the time they put the hard bits of the tobacco leaf... rather try out mazaya, al-waha, you could even support the local brand amaren, they make some great flavour 😄 happy smoking 😁🌈

Nahla is not strong tobacco and fumari is not light one.. and thats because of the juices in their package..and for sure all we start our smokin experience with al fakher and nahla no with starbuss or fumari .I thing you should see the global trends of tobacco brands now and I am sure that you will rethink about the strength of tobacco's...nice videos keep the good work and I hope to see a video about the different types of Hmds in the market
Thank you for your kind words! We appreciate the feedback. In our humble opinion we think that Nakhla can be strong due to its capability to withstand a lot of heat. Fumari on the other hand is pretty light tobacco as far as the level of nicotine and buzz. Yes, Fumari is smokey, but we would not call it strong tobacco.

Have you tried NU brand hookah tobacco? Does that brand have a buzz like Al fakher or weak like starbuzz? I heard good things on them especially their pineapple flavor..

definitely! Tangiers is less heat resistant so it goes to the bottom. Fumari on top to save tangiers! 😎

There wasn't alot of smoke. I mean maybe since I'm from Ny we do it differently. But I'm taking the flavor advice.

lounge first we put out "vase" in the freezer wit water to make the "cloud" more thicker. 2nd we put in the flavor and make sure no to cover the holes in the bowl. 3rd we grab aluminum foil and fold it in half. Then we cover the bowl nice and tight. 4th we use a thumbtack and gently poke the aluminum foil. NO BIG HOLES JUST LITTLE ONES. 5th assemble your hookah. 6th put the charcoal on top. Cover the bowl with aluminum foil make some what of a tent to keep the heat in. That's pretty much it
@@UnknownT8_ yeah we don't use foil. We use heat management units, like the one in the video. Way better than the foil. Give it a try.

Depends on the vendor and the state. It could be anywhere from 35 to 60 dollars

I really appreciate what you guys are doing here, but this ranking with all do respect, sherbetly us literally the worst brand i have tried in my life and I have tried a lot, none of the flavors taste as is claimed, like their grape tastes like the worst grape drink you have ever drank.
Plus you're focusing too much on "heat resistance" and "buzz".
You know you're not supposed to get high on hookah it's not weed or any psychedelic substance, the highest high is like the feeling you get from a cigarette after a long day, you're not supposed to get dizzy or buzzed from smoking it.
Heat resistance depends on how experienced you are and how good your at managing your hookah, you should be able to smoke for 1 and a half hour to 2 hours every time with regular size bowl
Flavour is king
Desi tabbaco is best because they don't contains haramfull chemical 🔥
