I think it’s just out of frustration because of the amount of needs she got. They really overdid it, and instead of making her balanced they made her low tier.
N D you think sheik is wayyyyyy worse than she actually is, sheik doesn’t need any buffs. Quick low damage archetypes are in most fighting games, and buffing sheik damage just ruins that and makes her just another mario/luigi
Braydon Cunningham give her consistent kill confirms back. She has so few now it’s irritating. Her good combos aren’t true, and her only reliable kill option is offstage gimping.

It's like a melee hitbox where it sends based on which side of hits the opponent, If they get hit by the left hit while landing on you they get sent right
You said dsmash will always send the opponent in front of you, but even in your clip at 3:46 it sent the opponent behind. Great guide though just a small detail
Great question! For me I simply don't find any practice good if you're not giving / practicing your all. So though the combos gets messed up at times, learning the intercasies with Sheiks combos get better and better for every time you give it your best. So I do go for the crazy ones yeah
6:45 ish. How do you cancel the dair? I end killing myself 90% of the time with dair when trying to spike because I'm used to dair spikes with my mains.
I didn't thought many other sheiks used Needles as a movement option :'3, btw in smash 4 there was a set up that goes up-Throw, jump and wait for the airdodge or atack to use the up-B and kill them at high percent ¿does it still work on Smash ultimate? (I only have Smash 4 qwp Sheik is my secondary but i really love using her).
3:37 claims dowsmash "will always send your opponent in front of you", but literally 10 seconds later at 3:47, we see greninja get launched behind sheik as she catches a roll with downsmash. can you clarify on what you meant/how downsmash works??

You can land from off-stage with bouncing fish and cancel the end lag if you space it properly. Instead of sheik landing on the ground and taking a while to get up, she stands up right when he hits the ground. This is done by starting the move right as you drop below stage level. Could this have useful applications?
Nick P We’ve known this for a Long time and it’s very unpractical as She has no invincibility during the sequence. Only good application We have found is that she Can reset Edge guards quicker
6:21 approaching with nair is ok, you just have to fastfall it and then act quickly out of it. Because of its bigger horizontal hotbox vs fair, it tends to work better as a proactive option. This style works better against characters who can't match Sheik's combination of movement speed and frame data. An ancillary benefit of doing this is that you can move into ftilt range more easily after either a confirm or whiff. Fair is better if you're committed to acting second in most neutral exchanges, which is more suited for facing rushdown/vortex characters, or bait-and-punish characters that also have good mobility (e.g. C. Falcon or ZSS).
One unspoken question I believe has to come with this character: how can anyone be expected to main them? They’re so complicated, so precise, when so many other characters are better. Why does Nintendo make her so difficult?

Livin' it up Might be, I haven’t seen you perform it, but it’s nothing you should worry about. You never use such combo in competetive play. It comes naturally
I use Fox as my main. Is Sheik a good option for secondary? I also play Chrom pretty well as I know you need a good ranged character. But Sheik is just too damn cool and nostalgic (LoZ: OoT) for me not to play haha.
I got lost in the sauce and was about to do a forward throw bouncing fish after a crazy 0-100% combo and would’ve killed but accidentally upthrew the person I was fighting and lost the game cuz I was also at 100 and he naired and spiked me. Long story short I was salty and yes I see no reason to up throw at any percent. 😭

U-Throw kills the earliest of all her throws is why you'd use it BTW.
Except it's not killing. Unless you stand on a high plattform i suppose.
