- Mason Jar Tissue Holders! These tissue dispensers are so quick and easy to make and they are perfect for little gifts. Cathie is using fabric and Matte Mod Podge here, but you could adapt this design with napkins too. Great for Christmas, but you could DIY for any season based on the fabric you choose. Cathie from @HandmadeHappyHour will be answering questions live during the premiere.

Thank you
Thanks for joining us! :)
I love this ! I’m making a few for hostess gifts !
Jar notes: The Mason Jar is 20oz and wide mouth. You can use any tall style recycled jar....smaller mouth jars work too. If you don't use the cylinder tissues..... you can cut a little topper from craft foam.
GM - Where did you purchase jars from
Cute ideas
❤
So cute!
So cute, I never knew you could buy kleenex in a cylinder. Great IDEA!!!!!
Thanks! yes - they are great for the car!
I only found them so far at Target
Love this
Awesome project. Love it!
Thanks so much! :)
Where did you find the tall mason jars? These are adorable!
In reading your directions you say u use a 20 oz wide mouth tall mason jars. Where did you purchase these. I can only find 16 or 24 oz. sizes. Thank you
Please let me know if you have any questions. I'm using Matte Mod Podge for this project but you can use gloss or satin also. :) The fabrics are from JoAnn and Hobby Lobby.
I love this! Thank you for sharing. I have a bunch of the small square boutique Kleenex boxes. Is there a trick to adding the Kleenex from a rectangular or square box into a cylinder jar to where each tissue dispenses one after another? Also, would you use a cardboard sleeve to pull the tissues out, or would you use the actual metal ring that comes with the mason jar when using the Kleenex from a non-cylinder box? Thank you in advance>
Hi. Are you familiar with craft foam? I like to cut a circle that fits the top of the jar and then I add small cuts (5) from the center to the edge. But you stop short of the edge. Then you add the foam circle to the top of the lid, attach the mason jar lid ring and pull the tissues through. They will dispense one at a time. I hope that makes sense. I think I should do a video on the square ones.
@@HandmadeHappyHour Thank you! I think I get what you are saying. I will let you know how it goes.A video would be wonderful if it’s not too much trouble👍 Thank you for replying🙋♀
Are these quart size, wide mouth mason jars you are using in the video?
20oz wide mouth mason jar..... I have used recycled ones just look for taller jars. The lid fits smaller mouths too.
❤️
Do you think a 24 oz jar will work?
What mason jars you useing
Will this work on cans as well?
sure! I add fabric to cans all the time!
Hello
Hello Patricia! :)
I bought the 20oz from Amazon, but the lids were not like what you used. Can you link how you did it, or maybe a video using the 16 or 24 oz? Thanks!
I dont see 20oz mason jars. Either 22 or 24.....
I have never seen kleenex in a tube.
They are usually designed for car drink holders. The square style will work too.
My Target has them in the Kleenex aisle
